The location is close to the gate entrance to Catania although the area is very shady and dirty. The host did let us check in early as it was possible for him. Ac was good kept the room cool.

Where to start to room is much smaller than the pictures show and that was not the biggest issue. The problem was it was totally dirty, just imagine taking 3 steps across the room in new white socks and they turned black. We wouldn't dare to walk barefoot around. The shower inside was disgusting it hasn't been scrubbed clean for a long time as tartar has accumulated everywhere even on the wall tiles and glass doors and it never been removed apart from the bad smell it gave off. The bed the mattress was as thin as they can get and it was a nightmare sleeping. Apart from being uncomfortable, just outside the door was a machine like or pump nosie which started every 5/10 continuosly. Last thing the photos make it look like a bright nice place but in reality it is not at all.

Great location once you get past the one corner that looks a bit sketchy. Everything is very close, walking distance to a ton of restaurants and the Piazza Duomo.

The toilet had running water all day long and it was loud and annoying, especially at night. The hair dryer didn't work. There were a lot of fly-looking insects. The host is very nice via text, but avoid meeting him in person, especially if you are a solo female traveler.

La ubicación es perfecta para conocer la ciudad , el hospedaje está muy bien equipado y limpio.

Tal vez lo único para comentar es que ya podrían mejorar la calidad del colchón y almohadas, así queda acorde al confort del hospedaje que es muy bueno .
