"Nice location in Matera"

This was a great apartment very close to the Matera old town. Roomy and great facilities inside the apartment. it was clean and kitchen well provided for. Nice bathroom.

The (industrial sized) air conditioning units (odd choice for this type of apartment) were excessively loud which disincentivised their use. It was very hot when we there and it wasn't that effective. Couldn’t sleep at night they were so loud. No where to charge computers and other devices when out. The owner STRICTLY forbade the use of the lift saying it was for the exclusive use of another building occupant – yet I saw several occupants using it on more than one occasion carrying shopping etc. I would have been happy to use the (55+) steep stairs to the apartment throughout my stay but I would have liked the use of the lift on the first and last day - yet this was not allowed.

Quiet place near the historic center. Very spacious apartment with good facilities.

Perfect location, close to the Sassi. Large apartment with all that we needed

The only downside was having to pay for parking (on street) which was approximately 16 euro per day.
