Casa del Ginnasio - Taormina city center

Apartament ma bardzo dobrą lokalizację, usytuowany w centrum miasta a jednocześnie tak schowany, że nie słychać życia nocnego. Jest kilka kroków od Giardini della Villa Comunale, a z tarasu widać Antyczny Teatr Grecki - wieczorami słychać całe przedstawienie z jednego z tarasów, ale nic nie słychać w sypialni. Apartament jest w pieknej kamienicy, na dwoch poziomach- na pierwszym z nich są dwie sypialnie i łazienka, na drugim kuchnia i dwa tarasy na dwie strony - teatr i morze ( widac tylko kawałek, bo głowny widok kest na taras sasiedniej kamienicy, ale to jakoś nie przeszkadza. Apartament nie jest nowoczesny, ale bardzo czysty i wygodny a jego lokalizacja jest niesamowita. Zaraz przy wyjściu z apartamentu jest kawiarenka - można tam zjeść śniadanie - nie tylko włoskie! Obsługa jest niesamowita!!! Traktowali nas jak sąsiadów, pamiętali nawet co jedliśmy.

Minusem nie jest sam apartament, ale kwestia parkowania- my mieliśmy trip po Włoszech i byliśmy samochodem - parking w Taorminie to bardzo uciazliwy problem. W miecie moga parkowac tylko mieszkańcy, dla turystów sa wyznaczone parkingi - sa duze, ale to tak popularne miejsce, ze jak wraciliamy wieczorem w sobote i niedziele to nie bylo miejsc - cale miasto sparalizowane, zamkniete dojazdy - tyle ludzi tam przyjezdza na kolacje. Mieszkalismy w Taorminie 6 dni, placilismy miejski podatek (60 euro) a nie mielismy gdzie zaparkowac - zaden z parkingow nie mial wolnych miejsc i krazylismy godzine. Parkingi sa drogie - 28 euro doba, chyba, ze sie nie wyjezdza, wyedy 48h- 50 euro i kazda kolejna doba 15 euro; Lezaki na plazy prY kolejce - 50 euro + kolejka 10 euro od osoby

What was not to like, excellent location, lovely property, clean, loads of space, everything you need, fantastic outside space too with two massive verandahs with beautiful views. Plenty of room for four people although there were only two of us. Guilia was accommodating, responsive and extremely helpful giving us local information about supermarkets, restaurants etc. All in all, a brilliant stay although not long enough, thank you Guilia!

We could have had our sister in law and brother in law staying with us in the second bedroom but it looked in the pics that it was only big enough for children. The second room is a very good size and I’m sure if requested from Guilia that the two single beds could be moved together as there was more than enough room with a window in there. I think the pics might have been taken with the shutters and curtains drawn so looked very dark. Apart from that, there was “nothing not to like”.

I liked the location-it's close to everything. The apartment has two spacious terraces with nice views, and there are large tables both in the kitchen and on the terrace, which is great for meals or relaxing. There are two toilets, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host was very responsive, and the self check-in and check-out with a lockbox was very convenient. The bedrooms have big wardrobes with plenty of space for clothes. The apartment was also very clean, which we really appreciated.

Shampoo, tea or coffee were not provided. After a 16-hour flight, it would have been nice to take a shower and enjoy a cup of coffee to help with jet lag, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible right away.

Unlucky with weather so we unfortunately couldn´t fully enjoy breakfast or dinner on one of the awesome terraces :) Everything was great.

The apartment is beautiful. It looks much better in reality than in the pictures. There are two spacious terraces with a nice view which we used for our meals and relaxation. It's in the centre of Taormina, close to all the attractions, shops and restaurants. We had a nice time there, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Quality apartment in a lovely, central location within walking distance to everything yet on a quiet side street. Full kitchen and a large dining table, with two beautiful and comfortable terraces on either side of it, with everything provided including sun loungers, shade if required, outdoor tables. Indoors the AC/heating systems worked great. Beds were comfortable with quality linens. Beautifully clean. Check-in was easy and the property was easily found. Communication was prompt and very helpful.
