The cleanliness and location

The mattress was a bit uneven

Not to far off the beaten path to everything in Bologna . Offering an apartment feel w/ a washer and a great host! Ale recommendations were stop on for dinner and things to do! We had a great time in Bologna

Great location, close to train station and shops. Minutes to the main square with loads of cafes, restaurants and bars.

Location excellent as advertised. Kitchen was thoughtfully and functionally equipped with cooking essentials. We cooked a lovely meal there. Bedroom compact, but clean and comfortable. Host was prompt and communicative and seemed well intentioned and willing to help.

Shower floor tray and bottom of shower walls can be cleaned better to eliminate any traces of normal bacteriological growth. The ladder to be used in bathroom as a towel rack was untreated wood and not suitable to harbor damp towels at extended intervals. Perhaps would not even mention this but that expectations for properties with a cleaning fee are naturally higher. I have no doubt host would have remedied these items during our stay had we asked, but it was our preference to avoid others entering during our stay. Remainder of the property was quite good and clean as reported by many others. These are easily remedied issues and because we trust this host to attend to them quickly, we otherwise recommend the stay without reservation. We enjoyed our time in Bologna. The apartment is extraordinarily clean, equipped with anything you could ask for. Great attention to detail when it comes to amenities. I particularly liked the coffee machine and the tasteful set of mugs. The mattress was very comfy and bedroom has AC. The location is obviously great as it is close to the center and the train station. The host was super friendly and attentive as well. All in all it was just great!

I didn’t have any complaints

A very clean, spacious, comfortable and well located apartment with everything you need at your door, including caffe, restaurants and supermarkets. Walking distance to main train station, bus stop round the corner and main sites also in walking distance. Much to like about this place.

A shelf in the shower cubical for soap and shampoos would have been great.

Apartment has everything you could need for a perfect stay! It was clean, location is excellent, it takes around 10 minutes walk to main city square. Host was really friendly abd helpful!

The apartment is cosy, warm and clean, all facilities for a longer stay are available. Piazza Maggiore is about 10-15 min walk, so the city vibes and shopping areas are easily reachable. Grocery shops and bus stops are less than 5 min walk. The museum of modern art is almost at hand distance. Alessandra is a very attentive and considerate hostess, we appreciated the possibility of later check-out.

It was not the first time I stayed in Bologna, and usually collection of garbage from the streets and cleaning (3-5 am) is very noisy. So this has to be kept in mind everywhere when opening windows for the night. But this is not the fault of the apartment :)

Everything was according to the description and pictures on booking.com. Very modern apartment, the furniture and equipment seemed new, bed was comfortable. Quiet location, except for the daily garbage truck passing under our bedroom window around midnight, we didn't hear noise from the street or from the other apartments. Kitchen was fully equipped and functional. Nice hot shower. Conveniently located 15 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. There were also many restaurants and cafés just a few meters away.

We find it a little bit warm in the apartment due to the heating, but we understand that the heating system was centralised for the whole building and could not be controlled from our apartment, so there is nothing the owner could do about it.
