LHP Suite Santa Margherita

You collect keys from the hotel reception and were told the walk was a few minutes, its about 15 mins and at 1am in the morning it would not be pleasant to have to find your way in a strange place. Luckily we were able to get a taxi but the night receptionist was not at all helpful.

The suites are owned, apparently by the designer of the hotel. We paid for four people but were just two. We were staying for 3 weeks which is a lot of money. The apartment was meant to sleep 6, the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect but the main reception room looked like someone had taken half of the furniture. There was one 2 seat sofa, no table lamps, no coffee table and no scatter cushions. Half of the room looked empty which is not what I expect from what is called a suite.

Great flat, with cool view on a mini golf club and the sea, we had a really good time.

There was something seriously wrong with one of the beds, either the mattress is totally worn down or the bottom support of the bed is broken.

The location just 2 min by foot to the center, very spacious, clean, modern, a lot of storage space for clothes etc.

It starts to get a bit tired, window handle and door handles were lose, the furnitures a bit outdated etc. Parking could be a challenge, but we found a spot just below the flat at the street so was not a problem for us in September.

We had to wait 2 hrs to check in.. the sinks were clogged and covered with beard trimmed hair, there were cigarette buds near the entrance of the apartment and the main TV was not working

Proximity to town was great
