Casa Minù

Everything - the area is lovely and quiet, and the apartment had everything we needed and it was so clean. Would definitely return. Even better than in the photos!

When travelling from the La Spezia Central train station to the apartment; the best way to get there is to get the no.3 bus very close to the apartment. While we stayed, it was very hot & the walk takes about 20 mins uphill so we used the bus! Tickets for the bus can be got in the shop at the train station for €1.50 pp, well worth it.

Updated facilities, very clean and tidy, good shower.

This is a nice apartment. It's a studio, but it's spacious and clean, about 25 minutes walk uphill from the railway station. The area can be noisy because of barking dogs. There's lots of excrement on the footpath. The shower is good, with ample hot water. There is no soap or shampoo, but that is made clear in the facilities description. It's a good base for exploring the Cinque Terre.  The wifi details in the welcome folder are incorrect but the owner sent the new details to us. Perhaps it could be updated in the folder. Would only take one minute. We selected this apartment because it has an oven. Strange to find a notice saying the oven does not work, because it does! Maybe we misunderstood the sign. We also asked the owner for some coathangers...twice (in writing and then face to face). They never appeared. Nice wardrobe. Pity you can't hang anything in it. So overall, a few small things that were disappointing, but the modern facilities are a plus.

We were very happy during our stay at Casa Minu. Kamil made us very welcome. It was nice to learn that the apartment is named after the family's cat Minu. We had everything we needed at the apartment. It was cosy, clean and in a really lovely historical building, with a nice view of the church and other buildings around from the balcony. We liked the neighbourhood. It was nice to see everyday life around us. And we found everything we needed nearby, Penny market, carrefour Express and further down towards the train station, a nice and friendly cake shop and gelataria, Co op, fresh pasta shop and pizza and kebab takeaways. Great base for trips nearby to. We walked to and from the centre and train station each day, no problem. The art in the apartment is really nice. Kamil kindly gave us some postcards by the artist as a christmas gift, a nice memory do me. Thanks for everything.

No complaints

All, perfect place in a perfect location. And thank you to Kamil for all the help! The apartment is 30 minutes by feet from train station/city center. Or 6/7 minutes by bus. You need to get bus number 3, that lies next to train station. Once you exit the train station, take the lift for via Fiume and the bus station is at the right side of the lift.

Very lovely place , very clean , art picture on the wall. Nice walk around the accomodition.

Shower and bathroom facilities were very nice. The kitchen appliances were great and the host was very kind. Very close to the bus stop and near a grocery store.

The mattress was horrible and should be changed immediately. There was no toaster or kettle in the kitchen.

The accommodation was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed for our stay. It can be used as a base to visit Cinque Terre, and it's about a 20-minute walk to the train station. The host also gave us a few helpful tips on where to eat.

The apartment is exactly as described. Equipped with the amenities listed. Very clean. Completely separate accommodation, but the owner is always in touch and ready to help. Convenient location in terms of transport, 15-20 minutes walk to the train station, and from there very close to the embankment through the old town. By bus everything is much faster, but it is better to walk to feel the atmosphere of the city. The city itself is very clean and cozy. We were unlucky with a one-day bus strike and we were not able to get to Portovenere. I highly recommend this apartment.
