Great property with amazing views.

Luisa was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. After calling her from the train station, she arrived within 5 min and picked us up. She also took us to the supermarket with her car and then dropped us at the center of Varenna. The property was absolutely stunning. Amazing view from the living room and the front lawn equipped with swing, table, lounge chairs. Beds were comfy. Highly Recommend this property, definitely will stay there again.

The property was located up the road from the train station. Luisa was great host, she picked us up from the train station which was great and also kindly took us to the supermarket for us to get some groceries. The view of the lake was stunning, we enjoyed having our breakfast outside and in the evening watching the sunset. Its a steep hill stairs to walk up but manageable at reasonable pace(around 15min) but coming down was much easier (7min)

I had an exceptional stay at Louisa and her husband's outstanding property, Villa Bianca. The hospitality was amazing, and the property breathtaking. It exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway, travelling with family, friends, or anyone in need of relaxation. Overall, an unforgettable travel experience, and I'll definitely return to this amazing space created by the warm hosts.

The views were amazing the property was a good size and very comfortable.

Lovely stay in an excellent location with a wonderful hostess. We had a car and we parked it safely in the garage behind the locked gate. We drove into Varenna or Bellano each day to eat/drink/catch the ferry (but you could also walk down to Varenna on the steep trail). Parking was easy at the train station - there were always spots available. The view from the balcony was stunning!

It would've been great to have a stool or shelf for items in the shower area - we had to keep everything on the ground.

The view of the lake is spectacular. We went there for some R&R during an extended European trip. Just what we needed. Caution: It is a trek from the train station. Unless you are young and very fit, don’t try to walk it. But Luisa will pick you up, even take you to the grocery (stock up; you might not want to make the trip to town on the bus very often). The house is very spacious, clean, quiet, and oh, the view. Plan to take it easy.

Amazing views! Beautiful garden. Louisa was also incredibly helpful; picked us up from the Ferry and drove us back to the ferry terminal at the end of our stay. She also updated us via WhatsApp on the best travel route, with clear instructions and timetables ( part of the train line was temporarily down). She even drove us to the supermarket when we first arrived!

Nothing. We even liked the 15min steep walk back up the hill - helped offset the pizza and gelato! ( 10 mins down).

Excellent view. Good facilities. Luisa extremely helpful, picked us up from train station and took us to supermarket for shopping. When trains were cancelled after landslide Luisa kept us informed re replacement buses and made sure we got bus to make our flight.

Steep walk to get to property but if you don’t mind walking it’s ok.
