Appartamento Maniace

The location was amazing! We loved the terrace and used it everyday. Very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping!

Only one complaint was there was a smell in the one bedroom with the low ceilings. It was like body odor. We couldn’t find the source.

The location was wonderful. Terrific view of the water from one of the bedrooms and from the terrace (which is accessed through this bedroom). Most comfortable bed in our trip yet (5 other accommodations) and the best insulated against noise! Corrado was an excellent host and made us very welcome. After meeting him in front of our apartment to unload he took over the driving and we went to the parking station (a big relief as driving in historic centres is very tricky). On our way back to the apartment he talked about key areas, sights and restaurants as we walked. In the fridge there were strawberries, rockmelon, cherries, water and wine! Beautiful sunsets. Ortigia is definitely our favourite in Sicily to date. We also went on an hour boat ride which was a not only lovely but was a lot of fun. Picking up our car was very easy and parking was only 20 euro per day, less than what we had been expecting. Loved everything!

Leaving. Will definitely return to the same accommodation when we come back to Ortigia. Went to Syracusa, but it's just not the same as Ortigia!

Super Lage mitten in der Altstadt & eine fantastische Terrasse. Wie wurden sehr nett begrüßt und konnten glücklicherweise unser Gepäck abstellen, bis die Unterkunft fertig war. Alles war sehr sauber.

Man muss auf jeden Fall bedenken, dass nicht direkt am Apartment geparkt werden kann, Parkplätze gibt es aber am gesamten Rand der Altstadt.

Great host, great location and wonderful roof deck. Note that access to the roof deck was through one of the bedrooms.

Aside from the kitchen and roof deck, there is no place to hang out (no living room). We had nice weather so we spent our time on the roof deck, so it was not a problem. The second bedroom has low ceilings so if you are tall, beware.

I think this place is exceptional for the price. It is on the island of Ortigia in Syracuse. The old town is spectacular and the place is on the water in front of many amazing restaurants! If you love old Italy then this place is for you!

Nothing. Be prepared to walk alittle with your luggage. No cars allowed into this part of Old Town.

The location of the apartment was wonderful, and the view of the water from the balcony was stunning. Our host, Corrado was very nice and hospitable, and the apartment mostly met the needs of two couples traveling together. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped for cooking, and it was convenient to have two bathrooms. We loved being right down the block from the Fonte Aretusa, and a short walk to the Piazza del Duomo. If you have to choose between the mainland and Ortigia, by all means choose Ortigia, and consider Corrado's apartment. It is like walking in history.

The location is perfect. The view from the apartment is gorgeous so relaxing. Restaurants are close by. We couldn't find the parking garage but he took us there and helped with the luggage. Would definitely stay longer next time was only there for 1 night. The communication with him was great too woukd respond through WhatsApp immediately. He even left a bottle of wine for us and some waters.

The only things I can say that was bad was that I couldn't stay longer.
