Cuttigghiu Holiday Apartment

The apartment is nice and new, kitchen is good equipped and has all stuff you need to cook, the separated new bedroom is a huge plus and the bed is super comfortable, the owner was nice and response very quick, the surrounding and neighbouring is not perfect but it’s just a Sicily Vibes :) All was good. Recommend:)

We stayed in the ground floor apartment. The Apartment was a great size, immaculately clean, felt newly done or refurbished. The host is very responsive & helpful. Included parking was fantastic as we hired a small car for our 2 week stay in Catania. All facilities worked well, stove, oven, utensils etc provided, coffee pod machine was great, good water pressure, firm bed which was amazing (and a welcome change from the other places we stayed on our trip.). Extra pillows, blankets towels all in drawers & easily available if needed. Accomodation was secure, security sensor light at the door. It’s walking distance to the CBD, fish markets & points of interest. Restaurants are nearby, (we enjoyed a smoky bbq style place just up the road) & you should try - A Putia dell'Ostello Restaurant. Giovani the fruit veg truck man is very close by & was very handy, we were great mates after 2 weeks of our purchases & daily greetings as we passed by. The market, bakery & pasticcia all very close too!! If you’re getting a car… get a small car as the access archway into the courtyard parking is a little tight. (As is the street when driving around). We hired a Fiat Punto - fit very well. The street was always active. We felt safe walking into & out of town. but we always remain alert when travelling. Neighbours inside the courtyard are friendly & will say hello.

Well situated apartment near city center. Many restaurants in area. Available dedicated parking slot.

The entrance to courtyard (where the parking Is situated) is extremely narrow - if you are renting a car, I suggest to take as small car as possible. We mannaged to park with Ford focus, tho.

Eine große Wohnung über mehrere Ebenen verbunden durch enge Treppen - den Koffer hoch zu kriegen war etwas schwieriger aber machbar. Die Räume groß und ordentlich, schöne Küche, gutes Bett (wir waren nur zu zwei, das Bett ganz oben haben wir nicht genutzt). Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war namen-/ und gesichtslos, was aber kein Problem darstellte. Die "Schlüsselübergabe" in Form eines Kästchens mit Zahlencode hat gut funktioniert. Es ist ein Stellplatz (sehr schmal) vorhanden. Die Lage ist relativ nah am Zentrum (zu Fuß ca. 15-20 Min), vom Flughafen mit dem Auto etwas 10 Min. entfernt

Der Geruch nach Abfluss im Bad war sehr unangenehm. Auch durch ein 24 Stunden gekipptes Fenster war dieser nur minimal weniger. Wir mussten mit kaltem Wasser duschen, Handtücher dazu erst suchen. Ein Teil der Möbel ist in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr sehr ansehnlich (z. B. Waschbeckenunterschrank, Couch)
