Apartment was beautifully designed and had everything we needed - it looked even better in real life. Excellent location in heart of Taormina. The building is accessible from the Port Catania city gate without needing to drag luggage on steps/steep hills, which is a plus in this town! Our host was very friendly and gave us great recommendations when we checked in. Would stay here again!

The apartment truly warrants a 5 Star rating!! Everything about it makes visiting beautiful Taormina even more enjoyable and memorable. As its name implies, it is just a few steps from the Duomo which makes all of the major historical sites & shopping easily accessible—flat area of the city compared to accommodations that are on higher or lower ground and only accessible by stairs or steep streets. Communication with the host was excellent. At check-in, we were met by his father who kindly explained the workings of the apartment. We were pleasantly surprised with a generous welcome package. The apartment is totally renovated—spotless, quality finishes and has a very large bedroom with a most comfortable bed, bathroom has a comfortable shower. We Parked our car at the Porta Catania parking garage which is easily accessible from the highway and is only an eight minute walk to the apartment. We highly recommend this accommodation.

This apartment is in the BEST location. The main street, Corso Umberto I, restaurants and shops are just steps from the door. The updated apartment is on the ground level of a residential building. It's very spacious and comfortable. Washing machine is a big plus. The hosts, Carmen and Frederico were so accommodating. They were always quick to respond and genuinely nice. They met us at the Porto Catania parking garage (Level 7 is the floor you take elevator to) and helped with our luggage which is a 5 min walk to the apartment. They even provided a lovely welcome package of beverages and sweets. I would definitely stay here again.

The mattress was little soft for our preference but don't let it deter you from staying at this otherwise ideally located, comfortable and spacious apartment.

Our stay at Un Passo del Duomo Apartment in Taormina was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, Carmen and Federico's gracious hospitality made us feel right at home. Their wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions truly enhanced our experience. The apartment itself is fantastic. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with a wide variety of welcome snacks and drinks (the beer was a delightful surprise!). The location couldn't be better—right by the Catania Gate end of the walking district, making it easy to explore the charming town of Taormina. The bed and accommodations were very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, we took advantage of Antonio's secure parking for €25/day, which was incredibly convenient for our rental car. We highly recommend Un Passo del Duomo Apartment to anyone visiting Taormina. The combination of excellent location, wonderful service, and the personal touch from Carmen and Federico makes this place truly special.

The location was central to Taormina. It was clean and beautifully equipped. The owners were amazingly thoughtful and attentive. The facilities showed a lot of thought and care.

That central location can be a bit noisy, although it was NEVER a bother or intrusive. Whether live music from the local restaurant or simply people trodding under the window, you are reminded just how central the apartment could be.

Very clean and very pretty apartment Nothing to complain about ! Very central Also asked for a late checkout and was told I could keep it till it was time to leave for airport! Great host ! Will definitely be back !
