Casa Nicoli

I was working v close to the location of the apartment - a 5 min walk.The apartment is close to all the sights in the Città Alta and is very close to the bus terminus to take you to the lower town and the train station and airport. There is a small supermarket close by and other food shops and many restaurants and cafes to choose from. The host was responsive remotely when asked.

There was a lack of information about how facilities worked e.g had to ask for WIF code and instructions about the coffee machine. There were no instructions for the operation of the cooker and washing machine as an example - I was there on an extended stay and want4ed to use these. I was surprised there was not more segregation of rubbish for recycling.

Die FeWo in zentraler Lage der historischen Altstadt von Bergamo ist wirklich sehr schön und von den Gastgebern mit Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Natürlich sind die vielen Gäste, die durch die Altstadt im Sommer flanieren, zu hören - im hinteren Schlafzimmer ist es jedoch ruhiger. Ideale Anbindung an die Buslinie 1 in die untere Stadt und daher zentrale Ausgangslage für sämtliche Ausflüge sowie der wirklich herzliche Kontakt mit den Gastgebern hat uns als Fremden sehr geholfen. Wir haben eine ganz wunderbare Woche in der Casa Nicoli verbracht. Klare Empfehlung für einen Bergamo-Besuch!

Mit dem eigenen Auto bzw. Mietwagen kommt man nicht wirklich in die Altstadt (kaum Parkplätze, limitierte Zeiten). Die Tiefparkgarage San Marco, Piazza della Repubblica, ist empfehlenswert. Die Parkgebühren sind jedoch sehr kostspielig und zusammen mit Benzinkosten sowie Bustickets ergeben sich sehr hohe Kosten --> unbedingt vorher prüfen/ausrechnen (www.atb.bergamo.it). Mit dem Bus kommt man allerdings in Bergamo perfekt überall bequem hin.

The location is wonderful! In the middle of old town and just a few minutes away from restaurants, bars and a supermarket. There is no air conditioning, but it was still cool and nice inside, even though outside it was over 30°. It's a bit lived in, but had everything we needed! The balcony is tiny and outside of the apartment - enough for a smoke break, but nothing more. We would still recommend it!

The location is perfect—right in a beautiful building in the heart of Città Alta, it couldn’t be better placed! The flat is spacious and comfortable, well equipped (including a washing machine), and the internet is fast.

The street is quite narrow, so there’s no direct sunlight in the flat. Being on a pedestrian street, it can also get quite busy, so expect some noise.

Beautiful, characterful apartment in the perfect spot to enjoy the delights of Bergamo old town. The apartment has everything you need and we felt very much at home here. Good communication from the host, so any queries were quickly answered.

The property is very clean, comfortable and has a pleasant decor. The property is in a brilliant location at the top of the old town. It is close to the bus station and its position at the top of the old town allows you to easily access shops, restaurants and tourist attractions without being in the middle of the crowds who visit the old town
