The property was in a very good location, minutes walk from the main sites. The host was exceptional: friendly and very helpful with travel questions and needs

I believe that had I paid a bit less it would have been a very nice property. However, we booked it the same day and with a boat convention in town, therefore, the price seemed too high. But, it's understanding and we were happy to have a room at all. So, with a normal booking and no overcrowding in town, that property would be fine for the price. Again, the host was exceptional in every way, and that adds to the reason to rent the property

Very nice place in the city centre of Genova. Walking distance to major historical attractions. Charming neighbourhood with many restaurants, stores. This place is very unique, it had a beautiful private garden with gazebo, which we were able to enjoy. Stefania was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make sure our visit was the most memorable.

Rebecca was a sweetheart and handed the keys to us upon arrival.

When we had booked the location, the washing machine was a listed amenity. After arrival, I messaged host to ask about detergent. Host responded with a series of aggressive text messages and an early morning phone call about the machine being broken and that it’s not listed as an amenity bc the prior guest had broken it. Her tone via text and phone was bizarrely aggressive. She failed to realize that at the time we booked it, this was very much listed as an amenity. Rebecca was there to hand us the keys upon arrival, and she is an absolute sweetheart. The key is used for both the interior and exterior doors. At time of departure we followed the instructions that say to leave the key on the table, and this locked us outside in the garden area bc we could not use the key to open the exterior door. Thankfully Rebecca came to the rescue! She is an angel. However, when we called host about this, she was condescending and unhelpful. Travelers are tired and often rushing between cities and flights. It would have been good to have a heavy emphasis when we had our keys handed to us that at time of departure we have to use the key to keep both doors open before bringing it back in. Again, Rebecca was wonderful and rushed to save us with a second copy!

Excellent location! Close to attractions and food while also being on a quiet street. The rooms were clean and the kitchen had everything necessary.
