La Marina House - Al Duomo

Wygodny apartament zlokalizowany w samym Centrum Katanii. W pełni wyposażona kuchnia. Gospodarz okazał się bardzo pomocny.

Minusem był balkon, a właściwie znajdujące się pod nim zaplecze restauracji. Niestety w godzinach wieczornych nie dało się otworzyć drzwi ze względu na "zapach" frytury.

La porte d’accès à l’immeuble à partir de la rue était très difficile à ouvrir. Il y a même une fois où c’était impossible. On a recommencé deux fois avant d’y parvenir.

Niestety, zmuszeni byliśmy skrócić Nasz pobyt z uwagi na Pluskwy w łóżku w sypialni głównej, które pogryzły Naszego 9 letniego syna. Nie udało Nam się porozumieć z właścicielem w zakresie jakiejkolwiek rekompensaty finansowej z tego tytułu.

Location was great, very lively area right near fish markets

The location was 2 minute walk to the main plaza and cathedral.

The furniture in the bedroom needs updating. The bed head was wrapped in a cover but that didn’t hide the fact that the vinyl was peeling. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, especially around the shower. Some instructions in English would be a good inclusion, especially on how to use the washing machine. To use the stove you needed to turn a gas bottle on and off when finished. As I wasn’t confident doing this I didn’t use the stove at all.

Cool wee apartment that is very well located, extremely handy to a number of restaurants, cafes and bars. Added benefit of having a lift, unusual for Italy, plus the washing machine, it was well needed. The apartment is well appointed with good cooking facilities etc, was great to have stove-top espresso every morning.

Being 6 foot 3 the shower was slightly on the small side but I managed.
