I do not think I have ever met a more hard-working host, but Anna is amazing and really takes care of her properties and her guests! After we arrived, the elderly lady in our party decided she wanted her own en-suite bedroom, and Anna was unbelievably helpful and managed to prepare her a room in a B&B 1 minute walk away. She knows all the best places, and is well-regarded by people in the locality. We had booked the small one-bedroomed apartment, and the one-bedroomed apartment (which I was in with my son). The place was clean and well lit, with a beautiful main bedroom that was spacious with wardrobe space, and a comfortable queen bed. The kitchen area is actually a wonderful little space, and although we had the sofa bed set up as a bed, I could get to the window which opens out onto the courtyard below. The frozen yoghurt parlour directly underneath the apartment does get a bit busy with teenagers on a Friday and Saturday, but the main bedroom is quiet enough to sleep peacefully. Much has been mentioned about the bells in other reviews. Yes, they do chime with a dampened tone in the early hours, but we'd been Italy nearly a week by that point so we were pretty de-sensitised to bells in general (given that we were there during the most major Catholic celebration of Easter). Anna and her staff were so kind as to change sheets in the main bedroom twice during our stay (due to us swapping who slept where), without any problems. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants, including Auras - worth a visit if you're in the mood for pushing the boat out/special occasion. The apartments are located in an excellent area, a few steps from the castle and a beach. The 40 minute walk to the port is vibrant with streets lined with edible goodies and spritz! We're coming back!

One minor thing - the toilet seat in our bathroom just needs changing as it tipped to one side, which is an odd feeling when you're on it. Also the water pressure on the bidet could be higher. These are minor, easily fixed things though. The apartment was really good!

Great location, 20-30min walk to the port. Can take a bus closeby as well. Air conditioning was a plus and kitchen was well equipped, including a Moka pot. Nice modern interior and our host was very attentive and extremely helpful. If we needed help they were more than happy to help above and beyond. We failed to mention that the shower head was old and needed replacing but we still enjoyed a good shower, so didn't feel the need to.

Ischia was a dream destination, and our choice of accommodation made it even better! The place was not only spacious and clean but also perfectly situated in a vibrant area. It was within walking distance to the castle, and we were surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops. While there were churches nearby, the bells didn't disturb our peace at all. The nearby churches added charm, and the bells were hardly noticeable. Anna was fantastic, helping us with all our needs and sharing great tips on what to do on the island. We are definitely planning to come back!
