Amazing apartment, great location, super clean, close to restaurants, castle and the beach.

The location is wonderful, you're within easy walking distance of the castle and there are many restaurants nearby, quite a few with ocean views. The apartment has Airco which was a GODSEND at night since the island is so humid 24/7. The curtains do a pretty great job blocking out the streetlights, and the included clothes washing machine was super helpful. I was worried about leaving on time to catch the ferry, but Anna the host arranged for someone to pick me up and take me to the port the morning I left for €20. I asked about a bicycle rental, and Anna arranged an electric bicycle rental for me, and you do need the power because the island is a bit hilly. Honestly Anna was super helpful in suggesting places to visit and things to do. The apartment has a decent sized kitchen(with a full sized fridge) and a small kitchen table with four chairs, a 40in or so sized TV(with Netflix) with couch in the next room, and an adjoining bedroom with a door. It was really nice to have my own little space that I could cool down if I needed to. And in a post-Covid world, it felt good to have my own space, away from some of the busy hotels. The apartment is on the second floor, you will need to walk up concrete stairs to get to the apartment. There is no other way in, so it's not accessible if stairs are a concern.

There's no parking that I know of, but I'm sure if you ask Anna she could advise you on some alternatives. It's about a half hour walk from the Ferry dock to the apartment, so you'll probably need a ride with your baggage to the apartment. There are plenty of taxis at the Ferry dock. The apartment is across the street from a church which has bells that toll every hour. The sound isn't bad if you shut the windows, but it is there.

So wonderful. the apartment is in a great location, so close to restaurants, cafes, beaches, shopping and the castle! incredibly beautiful apartment. Fully equipped Kitchener, full size refrigerator, new washing machine. balcony. perfect.

Bed was a bit too hard for us

Fantastic location, comfortable bed. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. As well as a kitchen there’s also a washing machine. Anna our host was amazing and had lots of great recommendations. Nice coffee place with pastries very close by (Bar Ideal) and we loved Da Ciccio restaurant. Supermarket close by too.

I read some people complained about the church bells, on the whole if you keep the windows shut you don’t really hear them apart from the serious ones before a service which are during the day. The high windows are operated by an electric switch on the wall. For Ischia in general stock up on mosquito repellent (if you’re susceptible like us)
