Marinautica Sea Cottage

Wonderful stay. Perfect location with everything we needed right at our fingertips. Fatima was so lovely and helpful and kind. She helped take one of our party to the hospital when we needed it, checking in on her even after we left. Absolutely exceeded expectations at every level.

The apartment was located in a unique area of Sorrento, right on the water. The apartment was exactly as described and very clean. Fatima was there to greet us and responded quickly when we locked ourselves out of the house.

We are very tall so round roof was an issue for us at times knocking our heads The lips on the doors caught our feet twice Iron was not very good

We came to celebrate our friends 60th birthday after reading reviews this looked the perfect place, the location is spot on and near everything,the local fish restaurants and amazing good, take comfortable shoes as 57 steps up hill to the village with many shops and bars very vibrant. The small beach you have to get a deck chair or subbed for around 10euros each they don’t like you to use a towel, there is a lovely jetty where they charge around 60 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella it has showers and toilets. The small spa shop make fresh rolls with whatever you like in them and the views are cool, take a trip to the Amalfi coast it’s a trip of a lifetime along with Pompeii which will leave you breathless.

we are two couples and found the joint bedrooms a little to close for comfort with a small sliding plastic door with no handle separated us. The beds were clean and comfortable however there is one very small Tall boy for clothes and no other storage for any belongings so be prepared to live out of a suitcase, the second bedroom doesn’t even have a mirror and no storage so maybe not suitable for four adults better for two adults and 2 children. The safe is just sitting in the small unit in the bedroom on a shelf so can be picked up and removed so not safe. There were far too many things like many T.pots, coffee makers, nik nacs less is more and would give guest space for their belongings.

Location is amazing- you feel like you are part of the neighbourhood. Fatima is a wonderful host and had the house ready and nice and clean. We loved this holiday home feel.

Perfect location! Plenty of room for 4 people

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The host is interactive in a very helpful manner. Before we arrived, she showed us where to park and how to come to the house in detail with images. She was was as good as a concierge. It’s a comfortable home with a fully equipped kitchen. The glasses and cutlery were clean. The dining area and living area is spacious and on the ground floor. The main bathroom with attached shower are downstairs. The location is next to the beach but the port to go to Capri and other parts of Amalfi coast is a good 15-20 mins walk. The happening streets and centre of Sorrento is 10-12 mins away walk with sloppy road and stairs.

The 2 bedrooms are upstairs and there is no privacy as such. The only thing that separates both the rooms is a small partition which has some see throughs. One side of the partition has a half bathroom. This wasn’t something we wanted or expected but we didn’t get a clear idea through reviews and description.
