Great villa, equipped with all necessary things, breath taking views from balcony, comfortable, clean, beautiful place to stay to enjoy Amalfi coast

30 minutes walking from Amalfi centre, long climbing down, bus available to take you back for just 1.50 Eur, parking available quite close to villa, but there is also many steps to reach the villa

The VIEW!! Beautiful view of the Amalfi area without the crowds. This is in the mountains above Amalfi, which is challenging to reach, but once you do, the people are friendly and helpful. Facilities were updated and nice.

Be prepared for walking and stairs. This property is an arduous 45-minute hike down to Amalfi. The hike back up is even more challenging. You can take the SITA bus up to Scala and hike up the road the remaining 10-15 minutes. These buses were very crowded. It was difficult to find information on how to reach this location since we didn’t have a car. We took a train to Salerno. From there we walked a short distance to the ferry station. We took the ferry to Amalfi (12 euros/person). We bought ferry tickets just before boarding. Once we arrived in Amalfi, we took a taxi up to the apartment (95 euros). Although this was expensive, it was much better than jamming onto the bus with our luggage. The property also put us in touch with Alfonso who took us to Pompeii one day. Highly recommend him…he was friendly, entertaining, and felt very safe.

Het appartement zelf. Wat een uitzicht echt prachtig! Doordat er nog van alles in het appartement was, hoefde we niet direct boodschappen te doen en dat was in deze hitte erg aangenaam.

Het parkeren is even zoeken, het wordt wel goed uitgelegd hoor. De trapjes naar de locatie zelf heb ik vooraf onderschat. In de hitte lopend met je koffertje valt dan een beetje tegen

We stayed at CASA BELLAVISTA in Scala Minuta for 4 nights, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The highlight of the stay was the stunning view from the balcony—absolutely unforgettable and the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine. The apartment was very spacious, featuring large bedrooms, two clean bathrooms, and a generous living area and kitchen. Everything was spotless, and the home was well-stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to bathroom basics, including towels and beach towels. We also appreciated the warm welcome: lemons, oranges, jelly, bottled water, and a bottle of Prosecco were waiting for us in the fridge. Such a thoughtful touch! The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. While there is no private parking, the host arranged a 4-day parking permit for us (€10/day), which allowed us to park in the blue zones nearby. The Wi-Fi worked well, except for one day when there was a power outage in the area. The router was locked in a cabinet, but the host came to reset it. The villa is about a 20-minute walk from the Scala bus station, which made it convenient to get around by bus. However, getting from the parking spot to the villa involves about 3 minutes of stairs—up and down—which can be tricky if you have rolling suitcases. We recommend traveling with backpacks instead. One small suggestion would be for the host to provide clearer instructions for finding the villa from the parking area, especially for guests arriving with luggage. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable Amalfi Coast experience!

The access to the apartment is not ideal as it involves many stairs. Good to know in advance
