CASA BELLAVISTA Scala Minuta Amalfi Coast

Location and the property was amazing. Very beautiful view on top of the mountain. Everything was clean and you can find all the facility you need. They also provided some snacks, lemon and oranges for us.

The public parking was a bit confusing but when we asked the property, we got a fast reply and eventually got a parking near by.

The property was beautiful and well maintained.

The view from the main bedrooms: amazing!! The host: Pina was very friendly and helpful Clean through out Nice big bathroom Fully equipped kitchen and the fresh lemons and mandarins (and chocolates) Really nice hike down to Amalfi (though it involves a lot of climbing down steps)

If I have to be super picky: - The walls and the roof is a bit too low. You can hit your head on those arches if you are not careful. - There are several steps to climb down to the property from the road. I would not recommend carrying larger/heavier bags

The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Also the host took such good care of the facilities at home and kept the home equipped with warmth and everything necessary in bathrooms kitchen and bedrooms.

Just the walk from parking to property had alot of stairs to carry bags.

The beautiful setting, the spectacular view, the great value. Most of all, Pina, the owner, and her family. Pina went above and beyond in terms of helpfulness and friendliness During our stay, my husband had an urgent medical issue at the top of the stairs. My text messaging wasn't working and none of our friends had WhatsApp, so I had to contact Pina, and ask her to please inform our friends ( who were waiting for us at the rental) that we had an emergency. She was on the scene with the rest of our party immediately. Other residents of Minuta also came to our aid. A lovely young woman called paramedics and remained with us to translate. A nice young man offered a ride to the hospital in case the paramedics didn't arrive soon. Neighbors came out and offered moral support. No room for all the details here, but suffice it to say, we loved our stay at Casa Bellavista. We were treated like family and would love to return some day! Oh, and husband is fine!

There was nothing to dislike!

The house is facing the sea high up in the mountains. The view is marvellous from the bed room windows. The decoration is also pretty. Around the house you have this orchard with orange and mandarin trees. It was clean and immaculate. We got to eat these delicious sweet organic fruits.

The only downside was the electricity. It was tripping regularly when we switched on the all the heating equipment (it was Christmas Eve).

We absolutely loved staying at Casa Bellavista! Beautiful house, breathtaking view! Very welcoming host! This place has all you need for comfortable living.
