We stayed in an apartment that exceeded all our expectations. First and foremost, the cleanliness stood out – the interiors were impeccably maintained, which made a great first impression. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a huge plus during the hot days. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials, allowing us to prepare meals without any issues. The location of the apartment was very convenient – just a 10-minute walk to the Gate of Napoli, giving us easy access to all the city's attractions while still enjoying some peace and quiet. Another advantage was the free city parking on the street – we didn't have to worry about finding a spot for our car, which can often be challenging in the city center. Special mention goes to the owner, Paolo, who took great care of us from the start. He regularly checked in to see if everything was alright and if we needed anything, which made us feel truly looked after. In summary, the apartment is highly recommended – clean, well-equipped, excellently located, and with outstanding host care. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit!

We think Lecce is great with its rich history and the many small, cozy terraces. It comes to life in the evening when it cools down a bit with the whole family, from young to old and sometimes the grandfathers and grandmothers. The Arete apartment is a perfect location, close to the historic center and therefore within walking distance. Paulo made our stay an unforgettable experience through his concern and prompt communication. We can recommend everyone to stay here if you want to do a city trip to Lecce. Thank you Paulo!

The airco was broken but this can happen but a solution was made to our satisfaction.

Good location, restaurants/cafes/bars within 2 mins walk. About 10 mins walk to the heart of the historic town. Quite easy to find free street parking close by. The apartment is well equipped, clean and spacious. Very pleasant stay.

Not an issue for us, the main bedroom is on the second floor and has no bathroom. Might be something to be aware of if you have knee issues.

The apartment was fabulous, it was clean, well equipped & in a great location. Our host, Paulo, was easy to deal with & contact.

The shower could not be used at full pressure because the drain was slow to clear.
