Casa Ziretto

Beautiful landscape outside the window. Peace and quiet in the area. Great place to relax after visiting crowded Taormina.

The property was very clean, this was very enjoyable! The kitchen was well equipped, including salt, pepper, olive oil, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Since the navigation (google maps) does not indicate the correct way to approach the property, they pick you up upon arrival at a designated spot to guide you to the property.

During our stay, there was a problem with the water pressure which wasn’t constant (but not a big problem). Close to Castelmola, a cute little town, but be prepared to be a bit away from the larger street.

Utterly spectacular location. Wonderfully clean, modern and well furnished apartment. Easy communication with the owners who were helpful and friendly. The pool was a lovely bonus too.

Super location above Taoramina. Easy access to Castelmola which is quieter and more interesting. Oranges, lemons, limes, grapes, almonds all growing in the garden.

Finding a supermarket without driving all the way down to the coast (even then there wasn't much on offer) was a problem...so stock up on food drink etc before you head up. Taoramina's winding roads become a bit of a pain after a while. But accept thats life on a mountainside I guess.

We've already been to Sicily last year but only had a 3 days Stay at Casa Ziretto. We liked it so much that we came back this year for 12 nights. Never been to an Apartment this clean before. The place is beautiful in generel with a wonderful view. A hidden gem! The perfect place to relax because even when it is fully booked, you still get a lot of privacy. Besides that Federica and Carlo are wonderful hosts. We even got fresh eggs and a bottle of I guess self made vino. I would highly recommend it! We will definetly come back one day :)

The house is really nice and it has all amenities you need, especially the pool which is a plus. The hosts are very kind and nice, they welcomed us with an appetiser and went extra mile to keep us comfortable. The house is really authentic and makes if you feel living in Sicily.

The road to the property is a bit stretched and tricky - especially if the GPS is giving you the other road option which is horrible (we experienced that unfortunately). Given the location of the property in the middle of the nature, there are a lot of bugs and even snakes around.

The property was in a nice quiet area. The property itself was decorated well, was spacious and clean. The outdoor areas were well maintained, especially the swimming pool. The hosts were friendly and informative.

Close to Taormina, large apartment with balcony; use of pool and outdoor seating area; extensive views. Secure parking on site. Friendly staff who came to meet us on the main road to show the way down the kilometre long, very small, access road (the accommodation had no signage and hosts said the 'google maps' directions were impractical )

Kitchen was minimally equipped for self catering. The property was on the valley wall between Taormina and Castelmola so when driving to and from on 'excursions' always necessary to navigate the streets of Taormina and surroundings ! No restaurants within easy walking distance. Sound proofing between apartments not very good.

Before arrival, Federica contacted us and send us the coordinates get to the property, since GPS systems might guide you through a difficult road. One of the hosts, Carlo, awaited us at the designated spot and escorted us from the road to Casa Ziretto, which was very handy!
