Casa Ziretto

Beautiful location between Taormina and Castelmola. We liked the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere outside the hectic town of Toarmina. The appartment was huge and the kitchen well equipped.

The chairs at the table and the couch were not so comfortable. So don't expect to relax here too much.

This was the nicest stay so far . The view is amazing-so peaceful atmosphere and surrounded by nature. Apartment so spacious .The host Carlos was so friendly and helpful. He greeted us with home made wine and local farmers snacks. We even brought a bottle of wine 🤭there’s nothing to say but absolutely loved it! 10 out of 10👌by away you need a car to get there 😜

There was nothing not to like.

Very personally managed accommodation, very hospitable owner who really cares. Very clean, pleasantly furnished; spacious, bright rooms that can be shaded very well during the day; very good mattresses. In the evening we enjoyed the balcony, from which you can see the opposite side of the valley.

There is only one reason why the accommodation only receives the second highest rating from me: the walls of the apartment are poorly soundproofed, you can even hear completely normal sounds of life in the neighboring apartment (you could even hear e.g. the neighbor pouring corn flakes into a bowl). This wasn't a problem during our stay at the end of the season because our neighbors were relatively quiet and by the middle of our stay we no longer had any neighbors anyway. But under other circumstances this could have been disappointing.

Small paradise just outside of Taormina. The property is spotless and the atmosphere mesmerising. We were so happy to have found such a unique jewel, and the host Carlo was there to answer any questions we had. We did a cooking course with Carlo - best pasta alla norma we ever had! Should you need a taxi, ask for Davide’s number - a very reliable and friendly chauffeur! We definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back soon again!

The host was extremely friendly & helpful, the view toward Taormina Bay was wonderful, and we had a huge ground-floor apartment. The welcoming aperitive was a bonus. The property is very well-maintained.

The soundproof insulation is not very good, but it wasn't such a problem.

The accommodation was good with two good sized bedrooms and a large kitchen area and lounge. The pool area was also good.

I little too secluded for us. Having a car is also must as the area is hilly with the closest convenient store in Castlemola,some two kilos up hill.The road to the property is also quite narrow, therefore I would suggest a small rental car. A few more towels available would be good. Also a few more kitchen items like a kettle and microwave would be handy. Air con was good as it is hot in July/August. Carlo and Fredrica are excellent hosts and are easily contactable.

Beautiful and absolutely breathtaking location. Window view was more than I could ever expected. I highly recommended to have a car or to make sure you have a cash for taxi (it's really in the middle of nowhere which makes the experience even more outstanding). And other important thing: it's super clean. Looks like you can eat from the floor :) Appreciate this a lot.

Sometimes there was water pressure was tricky. But not impossible to use, just from time to time not as comfortable as I would expected.

Absolute 10/10. Surrunded by stunning nature, just a little piece of paradise. Nice decor. And well equipped kitchen. Thank you!
