Ecalù Siracusa

Lovely apartment in a great location. The place was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for a few nights. Wonderful host, too!

There was a fair amount of road noise in the living room. Wasn't an issue for sleeping but distracting e.g. when eating dinner.

Spacious apartment, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. It was very close both to the old town and to the railway station. The host was very nice and helpful. The apartment is on the ground floor, so very convenient for people who don't like stairs.

Excellent location with walkable access to Ortygia and the Archaeological Park. Comfortable beds and a great shower.

Nothing really. Mosquitoes were a bit pesky but pretty standard for everywhere.

The location is perfect - only a few steps away from Ortigia, but less busy and gives you an insight to the less touristy and more normal everyday life in Siracusa. The apartment is very comfortable and the private entrance worked well for us and our two dogs. The dog friendliness and secure, private and free parking were highly appreciated. The host is very friendly and we couldn't have chosen a better place for our 4 nights in Siracusa. We'd happily recommend this place for friends and family, and especially people arriving by car and travelling with a dog.

Ecalu is a great place to stay. Location is a 10 minute walk to all the sites. The apartment is set up beautifully with everything you need. Living/Dining area which is very large. Kitchen along one wall behind cabinetry. Very large bedroom and modern bathroom with washing machine as well. Katerina our host so welcoming. Would stay there again !!

Ecalù Apartments is situated in a very nice area of Siracusa, not far from the center and Ortigia. It is placed in a rather historical building, but it has all the comfort. The hosts are very nice, we had good communication with them. They helped us fix all small domestic problems, find a parking place, etc.

Traffic outside (especially motorbikes) produces some noise, but this is not annoying.

Awesome stay in Siracusa! Walking distance to everything. Host was very nice and accomodating. Ortigia a short walk away. Nice clean bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Parking on site was perfect. Would easily stay here again!
