Ecalù Siracusa

Large apartment close to both Ortigia and the archaeological site. It had everything we needed for a few days. Secure car parking. Very friendly host.

The apartment is on a very busy road so bear in mind there is a lot of traffic noise. The apartment has lovely old windows which obviously are not double glazed. The entrance gate is not obvious so be prepared to ring the owner.

This property is well located in walking distance between the sites of Ortigya and the Syracuse archeological park. It is easy to access by car and the free parking is a bonus. Caterina is an exceptional host always making sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She also booked a table for us at a local restaurant and ensured we had a good stay. The bedroom was very large and comfortable. The kitchen and washing machine were also appreciated. Definitely recommend if you are visiting this area with a car.

Great location, very close to Ortigia. Has everything you need. the parking lot was a big plus.

On site secure parking was wonderful. Location within walking distance to restaurants and Ortigia was fantastic.

The accommodation was great, well located, spacious, clean. The host was really nice, she came to gave us the keys personally and was very friendly and polite, went above and beyond to make sure we don't need anything. She also met us to take the keys at the end of our stay (even though she didn't have to) and asked about our experience. It was also great to have a small table at the terrace in front of the rooms. Even though it's right next to the street, the fence with greenery creates a nice atmosphere. There was equipment for a coffee which was a big plus. Overall, the value for money was really good and we will definitely come back here next time we're in Siracusa!

Nothing to complain about

Very spacious. clean, comfortable well equipped apartment with aircon. Easy on site parking and good location for exploring Ortigia and historical sites of Siracusa. Shops, cafes bars all close by.
