Ecalù Siracusa

The location was a short walk to everything. The room was large and clean, with an excellent kitchen and a comfortable bed. The host was very friendly and helpful. The location felt very safe.

There was nothing in particular we did not like. We struggled to contact the property upon arrival due to a problem with our overseas cellular plan not working properly, though.

Friendly host, spacious, clean, and modern apartment. Good Wi-Fi and TV. The double bed and bedding were impeccable! Very comfortable mattress and pillows, with great quality cotton sheets. We had the best sleep during our whole trip in Catania. Location was very convenient close to the city center, with secure parking in the building.

The street in front is very busy and noisy, which interfered during the night. Make sure to bring earplugs. Unfortunately, there is no washing machine in the "standard" apartment, as suggested by Booking.com.

Well- located in Siracusa near Main Street of shops and restaurants and a 10- minute walk to Ortigia in one direction and the train station and rental car agency in another. There was a secure parking lot for the car.

Can’t think of anything. Others mentioned noise from the street but the window on the bedroom was recently upgraded and there was no sound from the street at all!

La ubicación es perfecta para poder moverte a pie por los principales atractivos de Siracusa: a pasos de Ortigia y a unas cuadras de Neápolis, el parque arqueológico. Ideal si vas en auto, porque cuenta con parking. Comercios y ofertas gastronómica por la zona. Caterina, la anfitriona, fue muy amable y estuvo siempre presente para resolver nuestras inquietudes y orientarnos en la ciudad. ¡Gracias por todo!

Apartment was in a good location, about 10mins walk to Ortigia, the old town with all the main sites, bars and restaurants. Very good parking (large secure car park). Nice bit of outdoor space. Rooms are large.good bathroom and shower. Very good towels. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great host who quickly responded to our questions via WhatsApp and in person. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The road is quite noisy, old windows don’t keep the noise out, there were 6 keys in total to get through the gates and open doors, a remote for the main gate would make it easier to get the car in and out, but these things are out of the owners control and didn’t spoil the holiday.
