Casa Sansevera Lucca

Everything was great. John and Paola were wonderful hosts who provided every amenity we needed. The apartment is well maintained and in a great location to access Lucca. John went the extra step of running my wife's iPad to the train station after she had left it behind.

The aparment is just outside the old city walls … just a few minutes walk. The apartment itself was fabulous … the hosts were there to meet us, showed us around and had even bought food and drink for us … it was very much appreciated. The kitchen is fully equipped and all other rooms were also great … the bed was very comfortable indeed, and the bedroom was light, big and airy. The building has other apartments and is close to the railway station but we heard no noise at all from either. There are good supermarkets within walking distance. We really had a fantastic stay …thanks to a lovely apartment and very thoughtful hosts.

Nothing … everything was perfect.

Our hosts Paola and John welcomed us at the front door and we were pleased to have them explain the various aspects of the apartment. All the fine touches were appreciated and it was very comfortable. The bedding, kitchen facilities, internet, washing machine and most importantly a great air conditioning system were all excellent. They left us food for a meal and plenty of local information with recommendations. All in all, a very nice and most cost effective option in this beautiful quiet area with excellent access to the historic walled city. Also of note is the close proximity to the railway station underpass that is useful if travelling by train or as a means to access the city sights. The system of waste disposal was well advanced and demonstrated a commitment to the environment by the community. At the end of our several days, our hosts made sure all was well and assisted us again with our luggage.

We would have liked to stay longer and enjoy all that Lucca has to offer.

There was nothing missing in that apartment. Very clean.

I’ve never written a review, but this time I have to: Casa Sansevera is fantastic! The apartment, the location and the owners - all top class. Don’t hesitate. This is the place to be in Lucca!

The fact that we had to leave.

We had a perfect stay in this modern apartment. It is ideally situated close to the railway station, not far outside the city walls. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable, and is full of thoughtful touches that are appreciated whilst travelling. The owners were kind and helpful and met us on arrival to give us a guided tour. If we return to Lucca one day, and I hope we do as it’s lovely, we would stay here again without hesitation
