Das Appartement ist etwas heruntergekommen. Bad, Küche gerade noch so okay.

The apartment is cosy and very well equipped. The balcony with an Etna view is amazing. The apartment has everything one needs. Apartment is close to the Catania Centrale station (10 min walk) and very close to the city center (Via Etnea) also 10 min walk.

Even though the apartment is close to the city centre and the train and bus station, that part of the city looked a little bit neglected and may make someone feel a little unsafe. But I have to be honest, we didn't have any issues whatsoever.

Globalement et au vue du prix, l'appartement mériterait des rénovations et de nouveaux ustensiles/meubles - la terrasse est petite est pas très confortable - le lit et le canapé ne sont pas confortables - il y avait un rongeur dans le mur qui faisait du bruit toute la journée - toutes les robinetteries sont remplis de calcaire - niveau équipements : les poubelles sont cassées, il n'y a pas de couteaux qui coupent, il n'y a pas de savon dans la salle de bain et il n'y a même pas d'huile... L'éclairage est super blanc Bref, pas une superbe expérience, nous étions pas a l'aise dans l'appartement

Perfectly located flat to visit catane and travel to the Etna, small but practical with good kitchen amenities, and very nice/smooth organisation from the owner. Area around the flat seems a bit shady, but we had zero issues there, with many parking spots for cars in the streets around, and only a 10 min walk to the historical center.

Apartment had what we needed, located well, close to the centre, walking distance to 2 supermarkets and multiple restaurants and parking right under the balcony. Communication with the host was good, although translator app was needed, which wasn't a problem with messages in booking chat. We had great time. Last 2 days the weather cleared and we had stunning views of Etna. Would not hesitate to return.

Apartment was a bit cold and damp in early April with no heating but this was only a small discomfort (or we didn't find it and tbh I didn't ask the owner so a heater may well be in)
