We found everything needed in the apartment

Comfortable, well-equipped accommodation, helpful and kind host, she left us cookies and coffee, and we were able to comfortably shop in the nearby Lidl. The accommodation is perfect even for a longer stay.

The neighborhood is neglected and littered, but we still felt safe. Chaotic schedule of bus routes.

The air condition did not work well. It was very hot. I also wished it stayed that it had a lot of stairs to the apartment

The loft has a first level living room and a sleeping room at the top, accessible through a staircase. The host has been very attentive, placing both cakes on the table and bottles of olive oil and vinegar near the kitchen sink. The location is 10 minutes away from the main pedestrian street and the Roman amphitheatre and we have always found a parking place, either on the street or on an adjacent one.

In December there were some days with low temperatures and the apartment was a bit cold, the air conditioning not providing much warming.

The apartment is spacious for two people. The balcony with a view of Etna was magical. Definitely the highlight of this stay.

The shower had some issues, apart from being on the smaller side — the shower head mount was broken (so hand-holding only); the water was draining very slowly, so one might have to stop the shower from time to time to let the water drain. And finally the soap dispenser was unfortunately broken. All easy fixes it seems, just very inconvenient.

Perfect location in a quiet residence neighbourhood, near station for daily trips and in walking distance to the center. Loft is clean, spacious and well equipped. Host was very helpful and responsive. We liked little extras like water in the fridge, muffins and info brochures. Nice small seating on a balcony.

The building looks run down from outside but loft is nice from the inside. Upon arrival there was a smell of lemon air refresher spray. Shower is rather small and water drains slowly. Couch downstairs was more comfy than bed with spring mattress upstairs.
