Central location

Decor didn’t match the images, the bedding was different and host was hard to get hold of. However, the location was perfect and there was wifi.

The location is absolutely perfect with perfect view of the Duomo and the flat is very spacious.

The flat deserve revamping as its old style. Impression being in the 80's 😅. Can fit easily up to 6 pax but there's only 1 real bathroom with shower (lacking pressure). The other 'bathroom' is just a toilet with a sink.... While there is huge space for another shower or even bathtub. The flat is very big...

The location is absolutely incredible and central. But then again Como is small and a couple of blocks here or there won't make much of a difference. The apartment is spacious, has a wonderful view of the Piazza and can accommodate 6 adults easily. There is plenty of closet space and drawers making it easy to unpack and arrange clothes comfortably.

The location is quite noisy, even late into the night - we're talking 1:00am! Also, the frosted glass windows, louver blind shutters and curtains don't block all the light and the room was quite bright at 5:20am (see photo). The apartment listing also failed to inform guests that half of the building is currently undergoing construction - I mean hammers, saws, chisels, etc. (see photo showing construction right outside the kitchen window). The listing states that there are two bathrooms; this is partially true. There is one full bathroom with a shower while the other is merely a toilet bowl and a sink - no shower. Water pressure in the shower is rather tricky. Due to the buidling's age, the pressure fluctuates and one needs to anticipate when the pressure will affect the water temperature which also goes from hot to cold due to the varying water pressure. As for air conditioning, there are three units; one in the corridor, another in the family room that has a sofa sleeper and the third, a portable, is in the bedroom with balcony overlooking the Piazza. This portable unit is haunted by demons as it produces the weirdest and loudest noises when the compressor kicks in. I slept with earplugs in and was still bothered by the noises. Note that the third bedroom is cooled by a fan; no A/C exists in that room. Last, but not least, I need to address the stairs. While we were aware, beforehand, that there is no elevator in the building, we didn't expect the stairs to be of varying heights, making it a bit tricky for an older guest traveling with us.
