Scudaniglio Apartments

Location was perfect. Two bathrooms is a great bonus for 4 friends and we liked the terrace. The owner prepared a light snack for us in the kitchen.

Upon arrival, we were disappointed with the cleanliness, but the owner tried to resolve our requests immediately. The sofa bed in the living room is not suitable for two adults, so one person had to sleep on the couch. There were only two blankets for 4 adults. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen, but no detergent to use it. Dishwashing supplies were also missing.

Maria Rosas appartment was clean and spacious with two bathrooms and a kitchen. And especially the terrace was fantastic with a great view to the sea, the mountain and Erice and to the city. It was big and well furnished, so we spent a lot of good time there. We were five friends staying there for 3 nights with three in the bedroom and two in the livingroom. The appartment is located right between the old and new part of town which makes everything very accessable.

The hosts were very nice, the location was great, the apartment was spacious with a view, the bathrooms were beautifully remodeled.

But what disappointed me was the mold on the wall in the master bedroom. the air was musty and it was impossible to sleep there. We wanted to sleep on the couch, but it had collapsed mattresses.

Loved the apartment. It was in a secure building. It was modern and cosy. It had washing machine , dishwasher , coffee machine ,iron etc. I would say they could do with an ironing board and towel rails in the bathrooms ( there are two ). The terrace was large , there was a table and chairs. Plus wicker chairs but no cushions on them.

We didn't like the fact that while we were on the terrace the day after arrival the Owner had let herself in to the apartment uninvited. I got a shock when I walked in and caught her there. She had also turned off the electricity ( you turned it on by a key ) We didn't feel comfortable after that. The bedroom had mold and damp patches and squashed mosquitos on the walls. One wall felt greasy to the touch. The bedroom could do with a lick of paint. The television had one channel only and the volume was really low you couldn't get it any higher.

Clean, spacious and modern attic. Recently renovated by the very welcoming an friendly owner Maria Rosa. We just loved the terase with the city and sea view. Great central location for our family with 3 little kids. We loved exploring the area. Washing machine was a big plus for us.

The mosquitos at night were terrible. We used the electronic repellents, but the ones provided didn't work really.

Maria is very helpful and flexible person who took care of us during the whole stay. Communication was perfect from the first moment. Our apartment was very big, bright and comfortable. We really enjoyed the location. It's is just few minutes to the nearest beach, supermarket and city center. Definitely recommend also for longer stay.
