Lovely Loft & Flat

Location was good, and a big plus was the reserved parking space.

For someone who is used to sleep in complete silence, it may be a good idea to bring earplugs because of the traffic noise.

Overall, this lovely loft was almost perfect for our stay in Menaggio. The bedroom was a great size, and the living room and kitchen were well equipped with most of the amenities you’d need for a short stay. The area felt very safe and secure, which was a big plus. The hosts were incredibly accommodating — especially impressive given a rather difficult taxi driver we encountered — so kudos to them for handling the situation with patience and professionalism. All in all, we really loved the place, especially its excellent location — within easy reach of everything, including the ferry and, of course, the gelato shop! 🍦😊

There were a few things that could be improved, though none were deal‑breakers if your main aim is to relax and switch off. For transparency, I’ve listed them below: 1. Wi‑Fi – Unfortunately, the internet connection was one of the weakest we’ve experienced in a long time (perhaps since the dial‑up days!). On the positive side, it did encourage more quality family time without screens. However, we did struggle to stream shows on Netflix in the evenings, which wasn’t ideal. 2. Cookware – One of the frying pans was quite badly damaged, with a warped base and part of it coming loose, which meant it couldn’t be used. This may be something worth reviewing and replacing. 3. Coffee machine – The kitchen only had a filter coffee machine. While it works, in Italy it does feel like a missed opportunity — an espresso machine would be a very welcome upgrade. Overall, these are relatively small points, but addressing them would definitely elevate the experience further.

Piękny loft, na miejscu było wszystko dostępne, rewelacyjna lokalizacja i bardzo mili gospodarze :)

L’appartement était très spacieux, propre et avec tout le nécessaire pour quelques jours. La situation est idéale, tout proche du lac. L’accueil a été parfait également.

L’environnement était un peu bruyant tôt le matin.

Mooie accommodatie, ligging centraal in Menaggio. Appartement (Loft) van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer netjes onderhouden met ruime woonkamer, badkamer en slaapkamers.

In deze periode is de temperatuur nog wat laag en de thermostaat was ingesteld door de eigenaars. In de avond koelde het flink af en konden/ mochten we de thermostaat niet hoger zetten.
