"Home away from home"

The location was absolutely perfect for us. Minutes from the beach and playground (one of two in Monterosso), right above a mini-market. Paolo the host was very helpful and communicative and came to meet us when we arrived. The flat was wonderful with blackout blinds, separate bedrooms, a lovely balcony. If you are coming with a small child or baby (we were with our 1.5-year-old toddler) absolutely choose this place. We loved our stay and would stay again, and Monterosso is a great base for exploring the Cinque Terre.

The shower pressure is a low, the mattress in the bedroom is quite soft (a matter of preference).

Paolo is one of the nicest and most responsive host we have ever met. He was constantly communicating with us regarding our expected arrival time as he was there to welcome us and gave us a tour of his lovely apartment. The location was superb, near to train station, stone’s throw from beach, convenience store, restaurant, gelato bar etc all below us. Simply love the welcome drink limoncino made by his mother!

The host, Paolo's apartment was very near the train station. He met us halfway from the train station to his place, since we have two big luggages.. Paolo helped us bring our luggages to his apartment and also gave us a bottle of white wine and lemoncello which came from his vineyard and farm in Levanto. Overall, we felt very welcomed and will not hesistate to stay at Paolo's place again and recommend his place to others who intend to go to Monterosso Al Mare.

Very clean. Awesome view from bedroom. Modern appliances. Our host Paolo was very helpful and friendly.

Paolo not only greeted us but helped us with our luggage and ensured we were welcomed inside and comfortable with how everything worked. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the train station. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious for my husband, myself and our daughter. We also got to wake up every morning to our ocean view- it was phenomenal. Paolo was so warm and gracious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and his kindness. We would love to come back and highly recommend booking his place!

First of all, Paolo, the owner, is the nicest man! He met us to introduce us to the flat and give us the keys. Super helpful, truly wanting to be of service and to provide an excellent experience. It is evident in every detail how much thought and love he put into creating this fully equipped apartment. The location is great. Right around the corner from the train station. A full market right beneath us, and another very good bodega around the corner. It is an easy walk to the old part of Monterosso, along the gorgeous promenade on the sea. It was impeccably clean and comfortable.

Needs a clothes drying rack. We had wet wether so couldn’t hang anything on the line provided. TV remotes not working correctly. We couldn’t turn on the heaters.

We had fabulous 5 days in this lovely spacious apartment. It was perfectly located - near beach , train, restaurants, and 10 min walk to the fabulous Old Town. 3rd floor with a lift, views and good supermarket downstairs. Agree with all the positive comments below. Paolo was great - such a nice man who provided excellent information and a lovely bottle of wine and limoncello. Thank you
