Nicotera Apartment

Loved being in a real neighborhood just above main tourist area, but only a few minutes away. Very attractively decorated with a nice terrace upstairs. Paolo is a great host—very helpful, communicative and is a fluent English speaker.

The main area downstairs is very attractively decorated, but a bit cavelike, which is good for sleep, but dark during day. Upstairs has a sofa, TV and terrace and is much lighter. Not for those with mobility issues. There is a narrow, circular staircase to the second floor.

Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and quiet apartment/small house in the upper part of the old town. The host was very friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. The terrace for morning sun and first floor lounge area was very relaxing. We had a car and were always able to park for free either directly in front of the apartment or very close by. The lunch we had in the bakers a minute away was very delicious and excellent value.

The apartment is in the upper part of the old town so be aware that although the historic centre is close to walk to, it is quite a climb back up with a lot of steps.

We loved everything about our stay here and enjoyed every second of it. Paolo is a great host and make some excellent recommendations for our reasonable short stay. He was communicative and helpful. Bed/sofa bed very comfortable, neighbourhood safe and the apartment was well equipped. Parking just outside the apartment was a bonus too!
