The location is ideal—just a short walk from local shops and cafes. Free parking nearby is a plus.The lake is beautiful. The scenery is stunning. The downside is the view from the balcony/terrace, which is unfortunately marred by a dilapidated and abandoned property to the left. It detracts from the otherwise lovely surroundings and feels out of place and unsafe.

Cleanliness was a major concern. The floors and kitchen cupboard doors were sticky. The owner should invest in a diswasher as cutlery and plates were not washed properly. We also found what appeared to be pet hair on the bedding and sofa, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, there was a mould issue that needs addressing. Communication with the owner was great initially, but unfortunately, it became less responsive once we raised these concerns.

Super location, loved the view, clean and spacious apartment, kitchen was well equipped.

Narrow bathroom but we got used to it.

The host was superb, he was waiting for us at 2 in the morning when there was a great misunderstanding of our arrival time due to the fact that we don't use the 24 hour clock designation, so they thought we were arriving at 2 in the morning. I was very sorry but it showed how very accommodating they were. The apartment was spotless with a magnificent view of the Castel Gandolfo lake. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

The views were stunning and it was close to a small village with amazing restaurants and cafes, but no close supermarkets. It was easy to get to Rome by train and Uber, everything was clean and the double bed in the main room was comfortable.

It was a difficult walk to the lake, it’s much further than it looks on the map or pictures. (45mins) with a very steep incline on the way back some will find difficult. There was a problem with the toilet flush during our stay that the owner repaired but unfortunately the flush remained faulty during our stay. Just be aware that if you are tall you will struggle with the slender nature of the bathroom

The view was incredible, the added touch of the sun awning and outdoor furniture as well as outdoor dining table and chairs. The location was quiet as well as close to the centre. The apartment is very bright.

The bathroom is very narrow with a small shower. The bed was quite soft and the sheets in the master bedroom didn't feel like 100% cotton.

We loved the amount of space for our family, and of course that wonderful view! The flat was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. The communication was excellent - we asked a few questions and received quick and helpful responses.

The bathroom door was tricky to keep shut and had no lock. The bathroom is narrow (ok if slim!).
