Perfect 3 nights in Castel Gandolfo.... beautiful view and close to the piazza. Great size for our family of 5, lovely to have a kitchen and washing machine. However the restaurants were so great we didn't need the kitchen in the end. We parked at the bottom in a free public carpark, area was safe. Travelled in to Rome each day, just need to know the timetable to make sure you don't have to wait too long. The walk down the hill to the station is fine, but the walk up after a day of sightseeing can be hard, not easy if you are not very mobile. There is a shuttle but it didn't run at night. So glad we stayed here, lovely place to retreat to after the craziness of Rome.

The most beautiful view from the balcony. Apartment located quitely close to the main road of a small, very lovely town with nice restaurants. Well eqipped kitchen and easy check-in/check out with friendly host. All in all a "real Italian experience". We recommend a visit to nearby towns as well and especially a visit to Cantina Contanini

the bathroom was a little ”narrow”.

The location was fantastic. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The hosts were very nice and easy to contact. Parking was free and just a 2-3 minute walk away. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Our only suggestion is to upgrade the beds, or at least the pillows. They were very old and flat. Otherwise, we were very comfortable.

Only a very minor negative, to the left of the balcony is an unfinished building. Due to the positioning of the outdoor furniture it didn’t bother us at all.

Ridiculously small bathroom and bed too soft. View was compromised by derelict building immediately next door.

The view was stunning and the location was perfect.

It was all lovely.

the appalling hot water or lack of .. there were minimal cooking utensils. the bathroom was tiny could not dry yourself .. . building work was going on in the apartment upstairs causing jackhammering and waste removal noise
