Casa Lorenzo

We can not only recommend the beautiful Taormina as a holiday destination but also Fransesco and Casa Lorenzo. Fransesco made sure our visit was perfect, he was always reachable thorugh whatsapp and recommended the best restaurants in town! If you’re planning to visit Taormina, you should most definetly stay at Casa Lorenzo. We will definetly come back!

Communication with Francesco was fantastic, we arrived at Taormina by train, he advised us about transport between the train station and the apartment, and allowed us an early check-in, which worked out so well for us, because soon after it was pouring rain. He also gave us great recommendations about restaurants, bars, street food, and best places to have gelato and "cannolo sicilano". The apartment is in a good location close to the pedestrian "Corso Umberto". It was sparkling clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We definitely recommend this place.

The accommodation is located close to the center of Taormina where are all the restaurants/ tourist attractions. Francesco is a very nice host who helped us with everything we needed including recommendation for the best restaurants. The location was clean and we had snacks and water/ice tea on the house). Tip: do not forget your flip-flops/ slippers, the floor is pretty cold, especially for the girls.

Beautiful spacipus apartment with many thoughtful touches. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Excellent kitchen with helpful extras like vinegar and oil, salt and pepper, and even a selection of cold drinks with no extra charges. Good, new espresso machine and pods! It was very helpful to have a washing machine. We loved the location, so convenient to the town and also a fine base for starting longer hikes. The apartment was also quiet and very clean, and so beautifully decorated! Francesco was so helpful with information and anything we needed!

Francesco is a very good host and the accommodation was perfect for us. Taormina is more expensive than the rest of Sicily and if you want to self cater this property is fantastic. There is a very good supermarket next door which is open from 8am daily. Fresh chocolate croissants for breakfast! The kitchen was very well equipped, bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a lovely shower and there is a washing machine. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place was made even better by the host. We visited during the low season and it was peaceful and quiet. Lorenzo is so thoughtful and nice, he even picked us up from the bus station when we arrived, so we didn't have to walk uphill with luggage. The apartment is cozy and located in the perfect area in our opinion. The biggest supermarket is right next door, many nice restaurants nearby, as well as the viewing deck to see Etna. The area is quiet even though it's right around the corner from the main street. Perfect location to get anywhere in Taormina by foot. The apartment was clean, cozy and comfortable. Any requests we had prior to arrival (like cleaning the floors because we don't wear shoes indoors) were kindly accommodated by the host. Hot water is there at all times, as there is a gas heater instead of a boiler. Kitchen is fully equipped by all needed utensils and even cooking necessities (olive oil, spices, coffee, tea, sugar etc.) Lorenzo even went above and beyond by stocking the fridge with drinks to help ourselves to. We stayed a week, so mid our stay Lorenzo brought in fresh towels. Additional cleaning is available upon request as well. The sweetest thing was that it was my birthday during our stay in Taormina and Lorenzo surprised me with a gift. Very unexpected and nice of him. Overall, highly recommend the place. We had a very comfortable stay here. Host was extremely hospitable and friendly and gave us excellent recommendations. Apartment is clean, spacious and conveniently located, with generous amenities from the host. We will certainly want to stay here again when in Taormina!

The host Francesco is one of the best hosts we ever stayed with! He helped us with transport to & from the bus\train station, stocked the fridge with many nice surprises and was there to answer any questions we had or any other matter. The apartment itself was perfect for us- very clean, kitchen was fully stocked, internet works great and it was very useful to have a washer. location wise it's really close to the main street but also very quiet. Would highly recommend staying here!

Francesco was fantastic and the place is perfect in a perfect location. Had everything you could think of. I wish this could be my place for every vacation. Francesco checked in regularly to see how we were doing and helped us with restaurants and excursions. I can’t say enough good about Francesco as well as the accommodation. Perfecto!
