LUNA & MARTE, TAORMINA CENTER - (CASA VACANZA)

One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in during a vacation! The host is very caring, respectful of privacy, and helped us fully enjoy our stay. The apartment is beautiful, decorated in Italian style with hand-painted furniture and doors — authentic and cozy. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, the bedding was fragrant, with plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and soft towels. There was even a beach umbrella provided. Everything was perfectly clean. The host left coffee capsules for the machine — such a nice and tasty touch! He was always available, yet discreet and respectful. He responded quickly whenever something was needed. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The apartment is just a few steps away from the main street, yet located in a quiet and peaceful area. There was a Deco supermarket nearby, which was very convenient! I’m very happy with my stay. If I come back to Taormina, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the shower was covered in mold and really dirty. See the pictures. It is also really tiny, so there is high chance you will be touching the mold when showering. The moment you tell host about it, he starts to behave defensive, telling you how great his apartment is and blaming you in all the things. If you read his replies to other reviews you will see it: it is always either your fault or the previous guests fault and he did his best. Because of the way the host communicated we decided to move out earlier even though we paid in full for all the days and all the guests. There is also no natural light in the bedroom, the apartment is dark and dump.

This home was perfect for my husband and I! We had lots of space and were in such a central location to town. The main walking street and lots of yummy restaurants were all within walking distance.

Everything was great!

Great location, close to the main street, very close to a supermarket and restaurants. Well-equipped kitchen, including some breakfast items and tea, coffee, salt etc. Good wi-fi, comfortable bed in the bedroom. The interior design is quirky but very nice, and the apartment is spacious (though the bathroom is quite small). Good communication with the host. I would definitely stay there again.

The description says there are 3 beds in the apartment - a bed and a sofa bed in the bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room, but there is only one bed in the bedroom, and one sofa in the living room, which is misleading. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. The shower area could have been cleaner.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Taormina! The apratment is very well equiped, and it felt like home. It is very near to all the hot spots in Taormina, close to the cable car to Mazzaro beach. Mini market called deco is right on the corner, so we got everything we needed. Very clean as well, quiet neghbrorhood, even though it's located 2 mins away from the heart of Taormina. Danilo is a great host, I highly recommend his place for a perfect vacation in Taormina! :)

The apartment is very well located in the heart of the historic centre of Taormina! It is well equipped and has a fittingly querky decoration. The host is easily reachable and was very available to us. You have a supermarket nearby which is very convenient, as well as a delicious Cannoli store that we recommend!

The WiFi was not working but we didn't disturb the host with this since it was only a short stay.

Everything was great. The owner was very helpful, friendly and careful to all our requests, highly recommend. He made our accommodation very pleasant.

Very clean and near the local amenities. Danilo was very helpful and always available.
