LUNA & MARTE, TAORMINA CENTER - (CASA VACANZA)

Spotlessly clean, the furnishing is beautifully decorated with the Sicillian motives, plenty of storage for your stuff. Except for the bathroom, the apartment is very spacious, living area with very well equipped kitchenette, and a separate bedroom. Good communication with the landlord. Conveniently located - very close to the center, a bus stop at the Porta Catania with a bus going to the main bus terminal where you can catch other buses to Castelmola, Giardini Naxos, Catania etc. Although the apartment is very close to the city center, it is located in a quiet neighborhood, with no accidental tourists hanging around. Nice restaurants within a few steps, and a DECO supermarket close at hand.

Bathroom is very small, and I mean really tiny - if you are not a slender person, it will be difficult for you to even turn around in it. Sitting on a toilette makes you touch the opposite wall with your knees. Sorry to be direct about that, but this is a significant disadvantage. Shower is good though with enough room to feel comfortable. But hey, you do not rent a flat to spend your time in a bathroom, right? ;) More important is bed, and ours was far from great - metal frame on 4 legs, a bit wobbly. I guess it won't bother a single occupant, but for two it's really bad. One person moves slightly, and another feels their slightest move. It's not the mattress thing, the mattress is actually firm and good, it's the bed frame. Also, there is another apartment next door and you can hear everything - talking, toilet flushing, door closing, everything. For the entrance, you have to climb steep stairs which is not a big deal, it's a charm of the building, but for the stairs there is a light switch down there but not up, so if you switch it on at night before you go up, there is no way to switch it off from upstairs. So you either leave it on for a night, or go back down after switching on the apartment's light so that you can see the stairs when climbing back again.

Great layout of property or small family, separate bedroom to kitchens and fold out. Property was clean and well organized. Kitchen had all the things you needed and fridge was big and clean. The location was up the hill but close to the main area.

Power and Water interruptions.

The owner of the facility was very helpful, suggested super places for us to try the local cuisine and was open to our needs. For a long time we didn't know if our flight would be moved so we were able to wait up to three hours longer in the apartment free of charge. Highly recommended!

We had a bedroom on the 4th floor and it was really hot even with the AC on all night 😕

The apartment was very clean, and the owner was messaging to see if we were OK and if we needed anything or any information and was available, should we need help. The bed was comfortable, great shower, powerful, and was so close to the main square, supermarket round the corner. All in all, an enjoyable stay would definitely recommend and would book again.

This is one of the loveliest apartments we have ever stayed in. Beautifully appointed with every detail, from the wonderful comfy bed and bedding, to the spacious living room and kitchen. Exceptional location very near the car park, a fully stocked grocery store and the main corso of Taormina. we had a wonderful stay and our host was available and communicative throughout our stay. We had a rental car disaster which caused us to arrive late, and we were provided with flexibility and a welcoming arrival. we highly recommend this amazing apartment!
