Amazing location in lovely Ostuni! Such a cute apartment.

The proximity to old town Ostuni

NO INTERNET. That’s how I plan my trip, keep in touch with friends, and the world. There is no excuse in 2024 to not have internet. BE CAREFUL. This agency manages numerous properties in Ostuni. They are slightly, if not overtly deceptive in showing pictures of properties that you may not get. My place was a cave, a vaulted musty room below a families house. NO INTERNET, NO TV, THE PHONE SIGNAL COULDN’T PENETRATE THE CAVE LIKE STRUCTURE. Plus, after I complained about no internet, the promised info on bus routes forward, never came. Hospitality was clearly lacking. It was a completely miserable lodging.

The location was excellent

When we arrived, the second bed wasn’t made up. We had booked the apartment as a two bed but they just assumed that because there was two of us that we would only be using the double bed which was not the case. Unfortunately we had to wait until the following morning to get bedding for the second bed. Also, there is no comfort in the apartment. They have huge amounts of kitchen stuff and crockery for a house that can only house 3 people but no sofa to sit on. It just seems they have their priorities a bit wrong.

The room was fine, but the lady managing pointed us to a nearby street where we can park the car. I sent him a photo after I parked and he replied "it's perfect", but the next day I found the fine from the Local Police for unauthorized parking on the windshield.
