Very smart , tasteful apartment , lovely building, and in the best part of town. Right above an art gallery and on a pedestrian only street. Restaurants by the dozen around this very privileged position Doublevglazed...very quiet Real Siracusa ......in the heart of things

Tea drinkers UNITE TEA.......can ONLY be made properly with boiling water, not microwaved . No electric jug or kettle!! Why? ..we understand that Italy has a coffee culture. Love that too. We got by boiling water in a saucepan.....but please get a kettle or electric jug .

The property was a beautifully appointed 17th century apartment in a wonderful location for exploring the city and surrounding areas. Our host was wonderful and always available if needed. We loved being in Ortigia

Nothing to not like about the property.

When entering this apartment, it is like being transported to an earlier time since the apartment has very high ceilings which are beautifully painted. In harmony with this history, the apartment has been updated with modern touches to make it inviting and comfortable. The hostess, Grazia welcomed us upon arrival and explained the features of the apartment. She also suggested a nearby underground parking garage where we were able to park at a reasonable rate during our stay. The apartment is on Via Roma which means that one is in the heart of Ortigia, so all of the island is just a short walk away. There was some noise emanating from this busy pedestrian street, but it tapered off in the late evening and did not disturb our sleep.

The location on Via Roma is excellent. In the centre of everything. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable.

It was on the third floor with 35 steps and five landings which was a struggle when one has a bad knee. This was not noted in their advertisements on Booking.Com as the ad read as if it was on the groud floor with a central courtyard. If we had known, we would not have booked it dispite its excellent location.

Location fantastic in heart of old city and easy access to all sides of Ortigia Very comfortable with lots of local stylish touches in apartment and view to street below with some wandering minstrels in evening

Difficult to open front door to apartment otherwise was a great stay

We stayed last year and had such a great experience that we came back for another week. You can’t give a better recommendation than that. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It’s equipped with everything you might need - the host even leaves a generous basket of goodies. The location is brilliant. It’s right in the centre of town but magically doesn’t get the noise. Yes, Ortigia is full of tourists but we stay here because it’s a fantastic base to get around the less busy parts of Sicily. We came back and the second visit was as good as the first.

Stunning apartment,and weve stayed in loads,location ,well ,open the door and everything you want is in front of you.Nothing to fault ,well thought out layout ,although we ate out ,has all you need to self cater. Lovely welcome from host,dont hesitate ,just book this place .Grazie mille
