We had a very nice experience during our stay in Catania. The accommodation was very good, with very spacious and well appointed rooms offering all the comforts we needed. The cleanliness was very good. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, a very spacious living room/dining room, large balconies to sip coffee in the morning and enjoy local life. The apartment is in the heart of the old town near restaurants that are very lively in the evening, with quick access to main tourist attractions and Catania's traditional fish market. I highly recommend this accommodation for the authentic local food available all day long. Our host has answered promptly, was always available to help us with anything we needed and gave us useful tips about the city.

Everything was perfect! The apartment is looking better than on pictures, and the location is great. Diana and Mario were very helpful.

we didn’t like the fact that it was advertised to have three separate beds and there were only two. Also it was very noisy, ad it was situated in the middle of the markets and fish restaurants. The noise went on well into the evening and there was the packing up noise of the restaurants below, so sometimes the noise didn’t finish until 2.00am .

Great location, middle of the party life and street food/restaurants in town(not for the people that want a quiet place). Very clean and interesting apartment, WiFi was good. Special thanks to the hostess for being so friendly and helpful, arranging our taxi for the final day.

Everything was good. The apartment was very nice, spacious, and clean. Surrounded by many good restaurants and just a few minutes from the center.

We traveled with children for the first time and the accommodation was perfect for us. Large apartment with all equipment (including juicer :-). Very nice and helpful owners Diana and Mario. The accommodation is close to the market, it is ideal for buying breakfast (if you have a juicer :-) The market is noisy, but we took that into account when booking. Thanks Diana and Mario, it was perfect.

The location is perfect, only 1 minute from the city center. There are many good restaurants around the accomodation. From the central bus station or train station you can travel easy to other interesting locations (Edna, Taormina, etc.).

Complimentary bottle of vine - very good. Central location above the market.

It was quite noisy at night, but I guess this is Catania centre :) Breakfast not a lot, but ok.

Very nice apartment in the very heart of Catania. The apartment had one bedroom and living room. Living room had separate open floor with stairs and one extra bed there. In bedroom there was queen bed and one small folding bed. We were family with two children and it worked well for us. Host was very helpful and provided airport transfer. There was enough food in refrigerator (prosciutto and cheese, juice, yogurt, jam etc). The apartment is located next to fish market area. The main market opening is about 50 m from apartment. Main city square is about 150 m. So the location is central. I do not recommend to have car there. Narrow streets and lack of parking spaces. Apartment had gas stove and fully equipped kitchen, with Rome brand capsule coffee machine. As there is market area outside, it is excellent place for someone who likes cooking - grab some fresh vegetables, fish or meat outside and here you go. The area is noisy. Next to apartment there is small square with restaurant which will turn into party area during night. We were there on Monday and Tuesday evenings - both evenings there was pretty loud music and lot of people having party there. So the place is not for someone looking very quiet area.

Noisy area. The party outside ends 1 am, but market activities start pretty early, like 5-6 am. The sound insulation was good, but you still can heard some street noise.
