Fisherman House - Sorrento Coast

It is Perfectly situated at the Marina Grande, which is the small harbor of Sorrento, with only some fishing boats located there. The close vincinity with restaurants, bars and a mini supermarket makes this place ideal when you don’t want to be in the city center but close to it. Also it is Great to just jump into the sea oder take a kayak or SUP.

If you travel with four people that get along well and don’t mind sharing a double Bed oder a room with to small beds and a couch in the dining room there is nothing to complain about.

The location is amazing, the beach is right there and the best restaurant in town is down stairs. The host is is really nice and helpful. Nothing fancy a practical place to use as your hub to explore the Amalfi coast

We loved the location, sitting above lots of local restaurants and far enough from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento town. We felt like locals. There was a supermarket and great restaurants and coffee and the local beach. We loved everything

What an amazing location! All the staff were amazing, friendly and so so so helpful. Their restaurant downstairs PortaMarina is a delicious seafood restaurant with such a kind hearted and extremely hard working family of fishermen. 120% recommend.

The place is very clean and is right at the sea front with sea view from the main bedroom. Amazing restaurants downstairs and only a short 10-15mins walk to the main square. Excellent location and also bed were very comfortable. Has good wifi and easy to reach the host.

Unfortunately there are a few downside to this flat given the price. The first being that the flat is actually a sub flat inside another flat that’s probably been split up to make 2 small flats and the other flat have their bathroom/washing room right outside the flat door so constant noise day night and through the night. Secondly, don’t even expect the basics so you’ll need to buy pretty much everything including salt, we were only given enough soap for like max a day an a half and only 3 toilet papers for 5 nights for 3 people. Additionally, the kitchen don’t have a proper oven and no proper kitchen knife and they don’t give you bin bags and you only have 3 medium sized bins that already have the bags in them to last you for your whole stay. When I messaged the host I was told that the flat is a holiday home so they don’t provide bin bags or extra toilet papers and if there is anything i need or feel missing then I’ll need to buy it. Lastly, the sofa and the dining table chairs are so uncomfortable, feels like you sitting on a sack of stones.
