Villa Matilde Amalfi

The property is easily accesable and is very close to all the Amalfi coast and the apartment is equipped with everything you need and more, but the reason for the stay should be the balcony with extraordinary view, all in all was perfect

The most important thing in planning a trip to Amalfi coast is selection of the stay. And I selected a perfect place- Villa Matilde Amalfi. It's perfectly located equidistant from Positano and Ravello, Miori, Minori and very near to Amalfi. When you stand in the balcony you get a literally boundless view of the blue Lagoon of the Mediterranean SEA. That night happened to be a full moon night, and the view was simply astonishing. The owner, Luigi, is very helpful and approachable. The appartment has all the facilities

Very clean and beautiful house with excellent views, Luigi was great and he looked after of us. We arrived on a bank holiday and we could not find any restaurant or supermarket, he brought the dinner for us.

The location, the house is a the top of the mountain, everything is in a driving distance. You definitely need a car, roads will be very busy in summer or holidays.

Great location if you have a car (easy parking), with amazing views. Luigi (and his mom) is a really great host, very friendly and always available to help. It was a pleasure to stay at Villa Matilde and have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea.

The stairs are long and the shower is small

Very good location if you're driving, great parking space, lovely views and great house to be in. Luigi our host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, he gave us amazing tips to enjoy our holiday more. Excellent from start to finish

The host (Luigi) is AMAZING!! easily reachable, will answer all your questions (best restaurants, cities, markets, etc). Very welcoming as well. Made us feel like it was our home. The place is clean, good size, huge balcony facing the sea. If you are looking for a quiet spot, near everything, its your spot. All the ameneties, spices to cook, ground coffee. Even Milk/juices in the fridge! Free parking spot

NO BREAKFEST

Property was advertised as having private bleach access, gym in the property, TV in the room, with close to the restaurants, beach, market, bus NOTHING of this was true. The closest restaurant was at least 8km away! When the landlord was questioned he said that the directions were considered as straight line. The Villa is on the top of a mountain and you have to go down the mountain through the road. The road is not in a straight line!
