Atrani House-AMALFI Sea View

Wonderful charm. We wanted a full Italian stay and that is what we got.

The only issue was there was no hot water at all and it made for a very cold shower.

A/c was great to have. Property is beautiful and as described. Nice layout with tall ceilings and beautiful view from the terrace.

The apartment is located in a great village with its own beach very nearby. Being based in Atrani made exploring the Amalfi coast easy due to its central location. The flat itself is situated close to the main square but away from noise and there are few steps to reach it. Inside the steps are moderately challenging but this is quite normal for the area. The flat is very spacious, with large bedrooms that are tastefully decorated and for the most part quiet. The kitchen is well equipped with everything one needs to make a meal. There are fresh towels and sheets provided as well as beach towels and umbrellas. The view from the kitchen is beautiful, looking out onto the village and the mountain on which Ravello sits. Up 2 flights of stairs, is a large terrace with stunning views of Atrani and the sea. There is also a coffee machine there. All in all, this apartment is really nice and well priced for the area.

The WiFi is very weak and sporadic. The owner tried very hard to rectify the situation by calling the provider but it never really worked well. There is just about no cellphone reception either so it can be a problem if you need to work or stay in contact. One of our group was in this situation so he was forced to go to different restaurants to utilise their WiFi in order to work. For the rest of us it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. Maybe a soft couch in the apartment would be nice to rest on after strenuous walks up and down the hills of the area.
