Apartments Gli Ulivi in Tremezzina

Location, pool and size of rooms.

From the lower bedroom you could hear a mechanical noise through the night. Suspect it may be to do with the pool?

We liked the sizes of rooms and of the apartment itself, the apartment has everything for comfortable staying, and it is located in the charming place.

First, it was tricky to find the property because google map gives another location, fortunately, we could speak with local people who showed us the road to the apartment. Second, the beds are squeaky and hard, we didn't sleep well.

View was amazing, apartments were nice and clean. In the kitchen you will find everything what you need. We definitly would love to stay there again if we be back to Tremezzo Irina was very helpful, we cant thank her enough for all tips, request, help. Our stay was amazing (we travelled 16 family members)

The pool was great for the kids and the property was well cleaned upon our arrival. It was very peaceful

Whole floor was underground which had a mouldy smell. When I contacted the host about the underground level of the property the solution was to book elsewhere and pay again. Unfortunately would not stay there again. Make sure you ask if your apartment is on the ground level or 1st level before booking. If on ground you will definitely have bedrooms in the basement with a mouldy smell. This information was not disclosed anywhere and this is why we were so upset as had we of known we would not have booked this property. Basic things that should have been there were not provided ie property has a washing machine but no laundry powder was provided. As well as no coffee or tea despite a kettle being provided. We didn’t expect it for the whole stay but to at least have it for the first morning would have been appreciated until we have time to go to the shops after travelling for over 7 hours. The wifi also suddenly stopped working half way through our stay but after the initial communication with the host we didn’t even bother raising this issue with her.

Pool was lovely, big and quiet, with lovely garden around. More spacious than I expected. Well equipped kitchen. Good free parking. Parc Olivia is a lovely place to swim in the lake, especially on an evening when it was peaceful and quiet. There is also a nice children’s playground, over the bridge in the park. Ice cream shop and restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk. Supermarket is a short drive.

Walls quite thin. Had some guest above us partying till 5 am, which kept the children up. Equally I’m sure they didnt appreciate my children waking up early. So noise from guests, although most the guests were very quiet and considerate, and the actually environment/surroundings is very peaceful. Would of been helpful to know exactly what beds are in the property. We paid extra for a camp bed we didn’t need as there is a pull out sofa bed, 2 singles and 2 doubles. As others have said the walk up from the lake is a pretty hard slog! It’s 10 full minutes of steep incline. Traffic around lake is very busy in summer when we were there.
