Bologna elegance

Great apartment in the heart of tourist area - all key to dos were within walking distance. Easy access to property and having the lift was just wonderful in the heat. Apartment has air conditioning which was much needed. Loved the location and am looking forward to a return.

Incredible location. Great sized apartment with beautiful views. The bed was quite comfortable with great pillows. The bathroom is fantastic, very large and great water pressure in the shower. The addition of a washing machine was very welcome. Also the amenities included in the apartment are all fantastic. Would definitely stay again!

The air conditioning in the bedroom was not working for our stay, however the aircon in the living area was working. The host had 2 fans in the apartment which worked fine for us during our stay and they did say they were going to have the air conditioner looked at after our stay had concluded. Other than that everything was perfect!

Host was extremely responsive. Building felt very safe, clean & really appreciated the elevator. Self-check in was easy & very clear directions were provided. Convenient location to walk around historic area with plentiful amount of delicious restaurants & shops. Laundry in unit. Shutters to provide blackout for sleeping. If it weren’t for our AC issues & what we felt was misleading us on it, this would have been a fantastic stay.

No AC!!!!! Advertised as having AC, a key factor in choosing this property & not alerted b4 r arrival that it wouldn’t b working. When we arrived, it was warm inside & noticed a fan near the pointing at the bed, which seemed odd. The people who came to check us in became visibly frazzled when we asked them to show us how to turn on the AC. There was a large fake plant in front of the controller & they nervously fumbled around, eventually saying it should start in a few minutes & just let them know if it didn’t work as it was early enough to address any problems. Red flag #2. When AC never started, we messaged host who told us that it was the 1st hot day (it had been hot for several) so wasn’t on yet. She then said the building hadn’t turned it on yet but there was a Dyson portable AC for us. It was a fan, not a AC! The brand produces less heat than a typical fan so is called cool, but it doesn’t actually cool- it simply moves air. That night we attempted to sleep in 85 degree temp. With windows open it only slightly cooled, still at least 80 degrees, & we got noise/bugs/light. With windows closed we at least reduced noise/bugs/light. Should have let us know ahead of time & we would have picked different rental. It had been hot all week in the area. You can’t advertise AC & only have it available sometimes. If it’s truly a building issue, host needs to b honest that u might not b able to use AC & your use of it will be determined FOR u, not by u. Would b nice to have place to dry clothes. Several lights out in bathroom. Pillow are memory foam, which we didn’t find very comfortable.

Super little apartment in fantastic location within the old city Bologna, couldn't fault it.
