BED.da Catania Apartment

The property is located extremely close to Catania downtown and there are parking slots available nearby. The host was very nice and we found a bottle of wine in the apartment for us.

Being a former workshop, there is only a small window and it is poorly ventilated. Suffering from allergies, the damp smell bothered us a lot.

Doskonała lokalizacja. Bardzo dobra baza na wypady do zwiedzania miasta oraz pod kątem transportu do innych miast. Absolutnie doskonała komunikacja z właścicielem, który jest chętny do pomocy i super da się z Nim dogadać różne tematy i udogodnienia. Jest dobrze wyposażona kuchnia oraz dostęp do żelazka i deski do prasowania. Dodatkowo na gości po przyjeździe czaka bardzo miły prezent.

Appartamento molto bello a 3 minuti dal centro. Proprietario molto presente e disponibile.

Nella via in cui si trova l’appartamento non ci sentivamo molto al sicuro. Successivamente abbiamo chiesto in giro ed é nota per essere una zona poco raccomandabile. Inoltre avevamo una macchina ed era difficile trovare parcheggio.

It was an exceptional host: Damiano was always approachable and could help with whatever was necessary. I enjoyed the personal touch with the wine bottle, snacks and tea and coffee selection. Because my flight was significantly late (>4 hours), Damiano was able to help me with the taxi to the apartment. So, I arrived at 2:30 am rather than 10:30 pm. The location was good for getting a bus to the ⛱️ beach.

Personally, I would prefer a small terrace. However, even without the flat, it was very much appreciated and enjoyed. Thank you, Damiano. I hope to see you soon!

Posizione ottimale in centro, ma in una via secondaria, possibile parcheggio a pagamento vicino e struttura pulita al piano terra con tutto il necessario! Ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare Catania. Da non sottovalutare il Letto veramente comodo

Unico appunto è il poco isolamento acustico delle finestre, ma la via è tranquilla e si dorme bene lo stesso

Great location very close to the historic centre. The host Damiano was very helpful and assisted us with pre booked taxis from and to the airport at a cheaper price than normal. The apartment was comfortable and clean.

The location is very central, which is very good, all main touristic places, restaurants and historical buildings are in walkable areas. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is quite big and modern.

Because the apartment is located in the city center and on the ground floor, it is quite loud, very humid and the lights from the street shine bright in the night. If you are sensitive to light and noise pollution from the street like us, then I don’t recommend this apartment at all - we couldn’t get a decent sleep because of that.
