BED.da Catania Apartment

The host was incredibly attentive and helpful, taking care of every detail to ensure a perfect stay. The hospitality included special touches like a coffee maker with coffee pods and small bread rolls for breakfast. We were greeted with a delicious Sicilian wine as a welcome gift, which was perfect after a long day of travel. The location could not have been better, right in the heart of the city and close to all the major tourist sites.

I think that you can’t find better locations for your staying in Catania. Host was very helpful. You have a lot of restaurants in your neighborhood. Free parking is in a front of your apartment.

Apartment is for 3 day staying no more because you can feel a little humidity. But that’s no problem for your staying for 3 days for sure.

The apartment is located in the city center. It is extremely convenient, as everything is walking distance. The owner is great and extremely available. The road outside is rather noisy, but it could have been the period as well, as there were many celebrations going on in Catania.

There is horrible high humidity in the apartament. You can find a lot of hidden mold on the walls. Be aware that main door and bed are actually 1 meter from noisy street.

Overall, I had a good experience with this apartment. The location was excellent, which was a major plus for me. However, it is situated right by a street, and the glass door can let in some noise, which can be a bit bothersome at times. During my stay, I noticed that the noise from the shower, toilet flush, and sink was relatively loud, which took some getting used to. Another point to mention is that the apartment tends to stay damp for quite a while after showering, possibly due to ventilation issues. Nevertheless, the host was very kind and accommodating, which made the stay more pleasant. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would still recommend this apartment because of its superb location and the friendly host.

Very convenient location of the apartment, the center and the bus stop are a few minutes' walk away. The owner is very friendly, and he always took care of our comfort and whether everything was fine, he answered and helped very quickly when there were any problems or questions. We also did not have without a surprise in the form of a bottle of wine.

A few minuses that we did not pay much attention to, but it may be important to someone. There are not many opportunities to cook a variety of dishes, but if sometimes something simple to cook, it can be done without problems. There was also no drying for towels in the apartment.
