Good location everything is near, market, central street etc

Microwave was missing as we used to use it.

The location was great - near the fish market and very close to the city center. All famous places were achievable on foot which is excellent! Also, we were surprised by getting as a present a bottle of local Catanian wine from our host, we enjoyed its taste! Thank you Damiano for your assistance, you're a very good host and helpful!

Wi-Fi was working not very well, the first day we arrived in the evening we couldn't connect but since this trip was about outside activities, it wasn't that disastrous. And we had our Internet connection, so not a big deal. Generally, it didn't change our experience of the trip at all, we enjoyed a lot!

Damian is a really great host, responsive and flexible, in emergency situation he is there to help you within less than 15 mins even at 10pm. Kitchen is modern and well-equipped for the price. Great location, less than 5 minutes from two of the most important must-see places. Just at the edge of the touristic quarter. Bed is really cozy. It is an independent tiny flat, not meeting anyone as in most of the rented flats.

Hot water was out after one of us had a shower, but we could manage it. Ventillation is essential to pay attention.

Location and facilities

The air is very humid and there was some mold smell. Couldn't survive without dehumidifier. No natural sunlight. It's hard to get fresh air into the room.

I always want to be transparent with my reviews. This is why I rate the place as a 6. It honestly isn't anything special. The host was amiable, the room was clean, and the location was pretty good. The free Wi-Fi and espresso machine were highly appreciated.

First, we were disappointed that the room is located at ground level. There isn't even a tiny corridor. This is extremely unfortunate, mainly because the front door is glass. Although the host was texting me 24/7 on whats app, they weren't particularly helpful. The host allowed us to check out at 11:30. Unfortunately, my partner and I were woken up by two ladies at 10:30. They couldn't speak English but somehow made it clear that we had to leave. Being kicked out in the pouring rain was an "amazing" end to our holiday :)

Very nice and helpful host, great experience with him! The apartment was clean, equipped with basic stuff and it was well located. You can watch Netflix if you want, and the wifi is strong!

The water pump is so loud when you use the sink or the shower. But you'll be able to live with it.
