Casa Cavallotti - modern apartment between Train station and Port

Great location and good sized apartment.

No soap and shampoo. Host explained it's not normally provided but did provide some a few hours after check in. The shower door is missing a piece at the bottom which causes water to get out onto the bathroom floor. You then need to literally ring out the towel on the floor and get down on all fours to mop the floors as it's literally full of water. Working out quite a sweat after you're done mopping. There are only two hooks in the bathroom and they were so high anyone under 5feet tall would not be able to reach to hang towels or clothes. Toilet seat is missing a screw. Which one of us literally almost fell off the throne when reaching for toilet paper. There is no closet or hangers to hang your clothes. These are simple maintenance items that would have made a huge difference.

The house is pretty big and its position is in the exact city center, that is not always great anyway, because in the weekends the music of the nearby bars and people voices from the street are super loud until late at night.

I have found an incredibly bad maintained apartment (see pictures attached) with a shower in awful condition, a broken toilet flush, a dirty air conditioner in the living room to be used for heating, dirty dishes and cutlery, and a broken rusty dishwasher with still dirty dishes in it and an awful smell! I tried to contact the renter of the apartment without success. I got pretty intoxicated because of that dirty air conditioner and really pissed off about the rest.

Was taken to a different property than booked. in residential area with no restaurants/food. Not happy to be stuck like that. Clearly stated we could not walk very far.

Residential apartment. No restaurants close. 1/2 the size of what we booked. Did have elevator which helped.

it was quite large and spacious.

the kitchen was quite small and the dishes weren’t overly clean.

Unfortunately, due to an issue with the original apartment, the owner had to move us to another which was located a little out of our way. However, provided transportation and was only a 5 min walk to the tourist areas. The second apartment was clean, quiet and just what we expected. job well done by the owner.
