GBThe staff in the Como office at Via Borgo were very friendly and helpful in person and over the phone.The Air conditioning that worked was very good. On the suface visible surfaces and areas was very clean and tidy. the Location was very central within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed
We requested a quote for Airport transfer upon booking the apartment. I chased it up on many ocassions no one was getting back to me. Then when they did it took on average a few days to get a response. Finally a day before we were due to travel they informed me that it wasn't available. The apartment was clean on the surface but look a little deeper the cleaners miss underneath things etc. The key collection was a nightmare even our taxi driver was lost with it. The Taxi number provided by 'My Home in Como' was terrible near impossible to get a taxi. the Air conditioning in the upper landing didn't work. There was no air conditioning in the Living room it meant it was way to hot and stifling to be able to sit and realax as a group. Comunication was the biggest let down the information is not accurate and very last minute from Key collection, Luggage storage, Check out. The whole trip would have been much better had we had all the right information in advance. It really did stain what otherwise could have been an excellent service.

AUAfter ascending the two floors into the apartment our party of five found everything we needed to make our short stay in Como a palatial experience. The apartment embodies true Italian styling. Full size kitchen made cooking a breeze. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was a necessity for a good night's sleep during Europe's heatwave this summer. The whole apartment was immaculately clean and you even got a view of the neighbouring mountains from the upstairs area. No problems with the wifi and once we found the TV remote (fallen behind the cushions in the couch by a previous guest) we were able to get the TV working. Minutes away from the shoreline and the shops makes this place really convenient. Would come back next time - hopefully when the ferry line is shorter and the shore activity is as restful as the picturesque lake.
We could not turn on the air conditioner in the upstairs common area, which was problematic in a European heatwave. We did send in a query about it to the hosts but didn't get a response. Had this worked it would have made the lounge area below a more comfortable area for living in and made this apartment absolutely perfect for us. It felt a bit odd to visit a public park five minutes walk away and pick up the keys from a locked box to such a high class apartment.
